The goal of this project was to redesign the kitchen to open up the space, improving the flow and functionality for the homeowner. To create more space, we removed an existing utility room that was located off of the kitchen. The center island was awkwardly shaped and positioned, cutting off the flow of the room. A new, larger island was installed to allow for additional prep space and seating. New cabinetry, countertops and tile backsplash along with all new stainless steel appliances give the kitchen a more contemporary look.
