The client's master bath was previously a his and hers design that featured small, individual vanities and closets for each person and a shared shower and toilet compartment. With an open concept bathroom in mind, the old bathroom was reconfigured to have a shared walk-in closet and bathroom. By combining the previously disparate spaces, the new bathroom had room for an extended Corian vanity that was complemented by a glass mosaic tile backsplash and lit toe space. The new arrangement also allowed for an expansive shower and tall storage cabinet. The sensuous curves, added skylight, and calm paint colors helped to create the contemporary, spa-feel that the client sought.
