Kutch Renovations

This small kitchen was tucked into an awkward corner, separate from the main living areas of the house. Our goal was to rework the existing floor plan to allow for a more expansive kitchen while also providing a better flow throughout the home. During the demolition phase of the project, we discovered substantial damage to the floor system due to moisture intrusion. As a result, we began by rebuilding the entire floor system to make the home structurally sound. Once the structural repairs were complete, we relocated the kitchen to the area once occupied by a formal dining room, connecting it to the living room. This opened up the space and provided a better flow for guests and easier entertaining. This also allowed us to double the size of their kitchen and dramatically increase the storage available in the room. Updated finishes included new cabinets, Cambria countertops, white subway tile and new hardwood flooring as well as new stainless steel appliances.
