In 1976 Bill and Nancy Fisher had a vision to build custom cabinetry of uncompromising quality at competitive prices. Since then, Ye Olde Village Workshop, LLC has evolved from a two person wood shop to a home improvement contractor with a crew of skilled craftspeople. Our knowledge of materials, construction methods, and design trends are what push us ahead of our competition. Your best bet will be white or red oak. In any kind of wood, I would recomend you to do the finish coat with BONA HIGH TRAFFIC, is the hardest finish yo can put on your floors and is water base.
