Terry Bennett Builders & Remodelers

I grew up in a family-owned building business and have been around construction ever since I can remember. Graduating with a Business Management degree from the University of Dayton in 1975, I joined the family business and oversaw the construction of over 1,000 homes.

We diversified our company in 1984 and opened a full-service home remodeling company called Bennett/Dover Home Remodelers with a partner. After selling my interest in that company in 1992, my wife, Mary, and I founded Terry Bennett Builders & Remodelers. We are no longer associated with the remodeling company which has retained the Bennett family name. My former partner continues to do business using the name Bennett/Dover Home Remodelers, which has caused some confusion among clients. I own and operate only Terry Bennett Builders & Remodelers.

Over the past fourteen years I've assembled a talented team of 24 skilled professionals all striving to accomplish three company goals on every job: to complete the job within the promised time schedule, within the stated budget, and to create a highly satisfied client, a Raving FanTM. Assisting my wife and me in the management of the company is our son Dan, the middle-aged of our 3 children. Dan graduated from the University of Dayton in 2002 with a Business Entrepreneurship degree, and is handling sales and marketing activities.

Our company has been recognized with dozens of industry honors and awards, including the "Big 50" Hall of Fame from Remodeling Magazine and the "Best of the Midwest Design Award" from Professional Remodeler Magazine. Most importantly, we have been named "Remodeler of the Year" six (6) times since 1996. We're proud of the many awards we have received for our outstanding designs and projects, but our main focus is on having our clients become Raving FansTM. We're the best in the business at what we love doing - building and remodeling homes to improve our client's lifestyle. We would love to earn your business and educate you on the home building and remodeling process!
