Acadia Residential is part of the Acadia Windows & Doors family of companies. Acadia Residential was formed for the sole purpose of providing quality windows, doors and ancillary products and services to the residential home remodeling market. Acadia Windows & Doors LLC has been producing, manufacturing and selling windows and doors for 67 years. Shortly after the end of WW11, in 1947 the company was founded in a garage on route 40 in Rosedale MD, a suburb of Baltimore. It continued a solid growth pattern in aluminum products while looking for new innovative ways to bring quality products to the customer. In 1973, during the very beginning of the vinyl window industry Acadia saw the potential of this new material and invested in the materials, tooling and equipment to produce these wondrous new products. By the mid 80’s Aluminum had taken a permanent back seat to vinyl and was soon to disappear altogether.
Acadia continued to sell to quality licensed contractors throughout the next decades for in home installations while continuing its growth in other segments of the housing industry. In 1990 Acadia became the supplier of windows and doors to the Island of Bermuda and was soon shipping several containers of windows and doors to them each month, something that continues to this day.
By 2000 Acadia again entered yet another market. The Multi-Family housing industry.By entering this market, Acadia had to continually improve and strengthen its products to withstand the abuses sometimes inflicted by multiple families living in that home over several years. They are now recognized as the unsurpassed leader in Multi-Family housing windows and doors throughout the Middle Atlantic States and beyond.
The next step in the company’s continued growth pattern occurred in 2014 with the creation of Acadia Residential. Acadia Residential takes the very same products that have been strengthened and built to extraordinary standards for multi-family housing and made them available to the individual homeowners in Maryland and surrounding states.
Please contact Acadia Residential to arrange a no pressure, no obligation in home visit to help you determine your needs and fulfill your desires for energy conversation and beauty.

In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.Learn more about reviews and comments.
