Teknika Design Group located in Old City Philadelphia for 30 years is a design firm, product showroom and remodeling service provider specializing in residential kitchens, baths, home offices and media rooms. Living and working in Philadelphia we understand the space challenges in row homes and condos. We also are very familiar with the surprises historic Philadelphia homes offer during renovations. Finally we do not specialize in a particular style, we focus on our clients’ vision and help them balance the style versus function dilemma when remodeling.

is it standard to hold a cooling unit up by a belt to prevent it from leaning? this belt slipped and was tighten to again to prevent it from leaking

A picture is going to be worth a thousand words here.  Are you referring to a cooling, i.e. interior unit, on HVAC?
