The salesperson, Neal, was outstanding. He came back multiple times to check on my wife and I, who was not too involved, to make sure we were comfortable with everything. He worked hard for us. The biggest mistake you can make is to focus on price.  Interview people that have had a custom home built. Ask them, "what would you do different?".... there is your answer of what mistakes to avoid!
