Too shelve work

Brett Marquis met us at our new house after closing to discuss flooring options. It was obvious from the very beginning that he has been in the business for a long time and knew what he was talking about! He was friendly and personable, and we got along great. We had multiple phases to our flooring project, and we had a pretty major setback with one of our suppliers. We got a wood floor that had some defects in the stain. The defects were relatively small, but they were noticeable. I appreciate that the contractors were sensitive to the defect and knew not to install the floor. We tried ordering the same floor in a different width, but the stain had the same problem. We eventually had to start from scratch and order a new floor from a different manufacturer. Throughout this process, Brett was communicative and transparent. He took on all the burden of resolving the returns with the first manufacturer, and he kept the project within our agreed upon price. The defects and delays were unfortunate, but we couldn't be happier with the service we got from Marquis Floors!

The team at Marquis is second to none. They do what they promise, in a timely fashion, for a fair price. You can’t ask for much more than that. Thank you guys for a great job!

We really appreciated how Brett helped us with the selection of our new flooring & the best way to handle & repair the water damage we had with our old flooring before the new flooring was installed. He helped us with each step that was needed to replace our subfloor before our new flooring was installed. All his employees & subcontractors were very knowledgeable with taking out the water damaged older flooring, installing the subflooring & new flooring. They were all very easy to work with & very professional. We were very pleased with their workmanship & would very highly recommend Marquis Floors for your next new flooring project!
