Recognized Excellence - Mark Poulton for excellent knowledge, problem solving, positive attitude managing the project onsite. Todd Raisanen worked relentlessly to overcome a ridiculous number of petty permit roadblocks the City of Phoenix threw at the plan. I'm not sure there is anyone else who would have put in that kind effort and could have made it happen. Cosme (grading, concrete, stucco, pavers) was excellent and really worked hard to help make some of the fussy details we requested come out right.

Areas Of Satisfaction - Working patiently through numerous details to create a design that fully met our wishes and then achieving it in the final outcome. Incredible tenacity getting through months of city permit denials (mostly, bureaucratic silliness and some really stubborn, lazy people in the planning departments - my favorite was the fire chief denying the permit (while laughing at us) because the city's fire hydrant failed to meet its minimum flow requirement.) The subcons Travek brought on site were all of high caliber and we were very comfortable with them working on our home and around our pets.

Additional Comments - I judge a company (significantly) on how well they work through problems and respond to issues that come up. We had a big project that is guaranteed to have things come up. Each time, Travek worked with me in positive fashion to work out the best solutions.

Design

Design - I am so happy that Travek was able to show me a computer picture of the exact replica of my kitchen as it would look when completed. Had they not had this service I would have been devestated by my original design which looked like a sterile medical lab. Since I was able to see the finished project before I started I was able to redo the entire design to something that is warm, clean and beautiful.
