To better service our clients during this pandemic, we have upgraded our technology to allow for remote estimating. Not only can we get satellite roofing measurements from GAF QuickMeasure and siding/window measurements from Hover, we can present all your options to you through a powerful piece of software called One Click Contractor.
All of this technology will assist us in minimizing direct contact. When/if it is necessary to converse directly with you we will use email as much as possible or hold conversations outside in the fresh air.
We want you to know that SHS is available to help you. In Gov. Cooper’s “Stay at Home” order, construction and critical trades are considered “essential” work. While we remain open for business, please know that the safety of our clients and team are our top priority and we are taking precautionary measures to keep everyone healthy.
Our Project Managers, Project Consultants and crews in the field are continuing to work while following social distancing guidelines and washing / sanitizing their hands regularly. We used Southern Home Services for a complete replacement of all exterior siding and trim with James Hardie fiber cement products and they did an amazing job. Christian, the salesman, was very detailed and a pleasure to work with. Travis is an awesome project manager and kept the job on schedule and running smoothly. He was always available to answer questions and address concerns from start to finish. The crew was always on time, super friendly and easy to communicate with. SHS does great work. They are completely dependable and I would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

The crew was on time and worked steadily even in 90-degree heat. They only stopped for lunch and kept going again until the evening. They were friendly, professional, and they knew how to do their job. The supervisor of the worksite was very good and helped with any problems that arose.

The Project Manager would not communicate, would not return calls/texts for days. The work crew installed the wrong brick molding so the window screens wouldn’t install, then drove off telling nobody. Flashing was installed backwards so some was white, some was off white. There was no project ending walkthrough, just an invoice.An altogether terrible experience.
We had SHS do new siding, new windows, shutters and carpentry. They were cost-effective, high quality and dependable. Coul not recommend them more highly.
Our experience was great! The installers, Joseph and Christian, were very particular and respectful. I was very comfortable having them throughout my house and they were extremely professional. They were also very skilled!
SHS has completed three projects for me over the years. They have installed Hardie Siding, replaced a roo,f and painted my siding. All 3 jobs were completed professionally and I was very pleased with their work. I will definitely call them again for future work.

The reason we ended up choosing SHS was because of their approach. There was zero sales pressure, and they spent a lot of time with us answering all our questions and offering suggestions. Their team was very efficient with their work and the quality of the work was excellent. Very pleased with the company from start to finish.
I would've given them all fours throughout the survey, but in the course of the project, I asked one question via email. No one responded to that question. Other than that, everything was good. I have already recommended them to friends.
