Initially, I had Elbert quote for just roof and gutter replacement. They did a fantastic job with the roof project so I had them quote windows, doors, soffits, and wood trim replacement. Their pre-sales process and quotes were by far the best of all the contractors I had bid on the jobs. The quotes were extremely detailed and they took several hours with me to discuss material and color options. The install took several weeks and the crew did a great job working with me on schedule. They did a fantastic job communicating with me throughout the job. I couldn't be happier with their work and would highly recommend them.

The only thing that bothered me was the timing everything took longer it took 3 days to a week when we were told it will be done in 2 days, and we were put on the back burner because they got backed up with other projects.

I did not complete this survey immediately. I wanted to spend some time before completing it because I wanted it to be without emotions.
I received a phone call less than 24 hours before they began the project. The day of the project roads were icy. They had difficulty in staging for the project. They needed an additional day to complete the work. The weather did make a difference. It was their choice to work in such conditions. It made me question about the quality of the work completed. I guess time will tell. I am also concerned about the amount of debris that may be in my gutters. I hope they do not become clogged and overflow. The comments noted below give more specific concerns.

I would definitely recommend Elbert construction to a friend for any roofing work. They were professional and courteous from the beginning to the end of the process. I had Communication problems
They installed a quality roof but it has been a frustrating experience because I feel like I have had to manage the entire process and the communication has been very poor. I am 5 weeks out from my roof being installed, still waiting on gutters, and no one can seem to give me an answer on when the gutters might be installed. I have asked for an explanation on several occasions on why the cricket was not installed and still waiting on a response. They are supposed to close off the gable vents and have said that their guys would be out to do it on a couple of occasions and it still has not happened. The braun vent installed is flapping and banging in the wind which you can hear inside the house. I have asked for them to look at it and they said their guys would inspect and correct if needed when they were out and it did not happen - still waiting on it to be addressed. When they installed the chimney flashing it was done incorrectly the first time. I would have had them do my siding repair/replacement too but they did not seem interested since they were so backed up or short staffed - never really got back to me - just said they were at least 10 weeks behind.
They did a really great job negotiating with my insurance company after the storm damage.
I have no concerns with the actual work. I am extremely disappointed in their ability to maintain a schedule or communication regarding delays or scheduling. They get the job and then its up to the customer to continually call about work to be done, when, or if. Several times I waited hours for workers only to call and be told something had come up, another job had run over" and we would need to reschedule. But they certainly demanded payment immediately-despite not making final repairs they promised would be done. Still no word on those repairs.

Fast, good cleanup, complete job
The work was mediocre and the installer lied about reporting the flood light he broke after putting up a ladder to remove a piece of bracket after pictures had already been taken.
It is good work, and the quality of work is good.

Very easy to work with and did very good job
Communication was not good… Project manager not on job often… End of day summaries would’ve been very helpful. Never knew who to call when I had issues as I had no phone numbers other than the outside sales person. Had to ask for a end of project walk-through instead of that being an automatic. Many landscape areas were damaged and large dead spots in grass.
Elbert sales team was very attentive and listened to every issue and dealt with them promptly. The crew worked really fast.
