Areas Of Satisfaction - Their subcontractors did a fantastic job under some trying circumstances. They really worked hard to finish the job on time. We were under a tight schedule and worked extra hard and even worked overtime to get it completed on time.
Design - Absolutely! It was a complicated project, and they pulled it off without a hitch.

The rebate that this company offers is a SCAM! I was offered $250 to display a company sign, which I did until the weather shredded it. I've never received that money. Meanwhile, they kept needling me about the $2500 that I owed them; I told them several times that that payment was made on my Discover card. I think that the company does good workmanship, but is misleading and pushy about their financials.
Additional Comments - They went out of their way to make this project happen- working at length with my insurance company.
The company is a professional company. They do the job properly. I wish they would improve the communication part of it and then they would be proactive in getting the job done quicker. I know there are some issues dealing with the insurance companies. When they do, they go into detailed process to get the job done.

Additional Comments - Of all the contracting/construction services I've used over the years, UCR has been the best: it delivered exactly what it promised, on time and with excellent quality and performance.
They were good and got the work and supplies done but the installation team took much longer than predicted and estimated. Their follow up was weak and we still have work that needs to be completed.

There was some confusion with regard to the ability to get money back for referrals and putting a sign in my yard. I was told that I would get money for that and it never materialized. That is the only negative feedback I have.
It started with the day the crew arrived and made a mess of my yard. They left roof nails throughout the yard which was a danger to my kids. They nearly broke my ATV unit and left my house uncovered after taking off part of the roof. A rainstorm came in and damaged my attic and ceiling of my home. The problems went on and on from there.

I had a wonderful experience working with United Construction and Restoration in the installation of our new roof. The roofers were very professional in their work. They were very prompt in corresponding with us regarding all the steps of the installation. I corresponded with Deborah Zetts from the office and she always responded to my emails and phone calls promptly. Michael Lyons was our first contact with the company and he was also very professional and courteous. The workers did an excellent job on the new roof and it looks very nice. I will recommend United Construction and Restoration to all of our family and friends.
Eric with United Construction and Restoration was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. He was very informative and confident in helping me get approval from my insurance company. They covered the full roof replacement and repair of my leak-damaged bathroom ceiling. The installing team did a great job replacing my roof. They were finished in one day and thoroughly cleaned up when they were done; not a single nail found afterwards. Deborah, in the office, was responsive and efficient. I am very happy with my new roof. First step is calling Eric to schedule a free roof inspection.
UC&R did quality work for our roof replacement. The team was easy to work with and communicated well throughout the process.
There was some confusion over some work that needed to be redone; but they did come through and finish the work.
I have had difficulty communicating with the right person at their offices. Otherwise, their work was done fine.
Everything seemed to be fine but I still have an issue. I'm not sure if its finally resolved and they haven't contacted me back yet. If they come back and fix it I would give them a five-star rating.

The roofing job looks really good. The workers who replaced the roof were great. The initial contact from Curtis at United was very good and he helped me along the way. The communication from Deborah, the production manager, was very poor. Travelers Insurance sent me the payment check rather than sending it directly to United. I tried to contact Deborah to let her know that the bill needed to come to me because Travelers was not sending it to United. And I wanted the bill promptly because I was heading overseas. No return calls from Deborah and when I called she was unavailable. If Deborah is tied up, or the wrong employee to call, it would be professional to have another employee return my call.

Areas Of Satisfaction - The roof's not leaking, so that's the most important thing. It was done to my satisfaction and specifications. I sat down with them and made specific requirements and I watched them throughout the process. If there was something I had a problem with, I would communicate it to a supervisor and they would take care of it and make sure that it was done correctly.

I have recommended a lot of friends to them. They fixed my roof, but they damaged other parts, the workers did and they never fixed it for me. The way they fixed the roof was okay, and the way the people talked to me was very nice. I am partially satisfied and partially not. So, it is hard for me to rate it and give this a score.
While Mike was very cheerful & you got me a great settlement, my account seems to constantly go dormant & nothing gets done w/o my calling & following up.
