I really wanted to like this group. This guy Daniel comes out with a drone to make believe he knows something about roofing. It was fun watch but of little use to anything they did. They did our roof and we are satisfied with the shingle we chose. The results were reasonable and I rate them a 2 because of what I could see of the shingles they did fine. However, it took several inspections to identify many problems that remained. When I asked why they didn’t replace some vent boots that weren’t properly installed the answer was “they aren’t builders”, yet it was in our written agreement that they would do so “if needed”. “If needed” to them meant they aren’t going to do it. They also installed gutter covers that I purchased and they did an amateur job at that. Beware they don’t know much about roofing beyond just shingles. It’s been 4 months and I’m still waiting to hear back on how they are going to address the vent and fix poorly installed gutter guards. To add insult to injury the contract stipulated a 5 year warranty and they provided me with a 3 year warranty document. Avoid this group, there is nothing excellent about them or their roofing knowledge.
I would never recommend them because of the gentleman in the office. It is not becasue of the sales guy. The office guy continued to aggravate me because he didn't know how to do his job correctly.
The quality is there as long as you can get them to clean up.
This was the second time I used them. The first time is was very satisfied, but not this time around.
Areas Of Satisfaction - They offered the lowest bid than other companies we received a bid from, and at the same time, that included new vents (where the higher bids from other companies did not).
Recognized Excellence - Daniel Buitrago has excellent customer service skills. All of our communications were taken and answered promptly.
Excellence Contractors Group was the second company I tried to call and I am glad they are the first company I heard back from. On the phone, they were very professional. They kept track of time and everything I was told was that would happen, was done punctually. They followed through with everything we agreed on. The process went smoothly and I didn't have anything to worry about. After the work was completed they cleaned up all of the debris which really impressed me. Everything was perfect.
Areas For Improvement - They did not fall short, they're very good.
Areas Of Satisfaction - They had great communication and description of the process. I didn't know anything about how to proceed they guided me through. I am completely satisfied.
Additional Comments - They were on time and the quality was good, I am very happy.
Areas Of Satisfaction - I am most satisfied with the location in Norcross.
Areas Of Satisfaction - They were cost effective, they gave me follow up information and they kept me informed.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Excellence Contractors Group LLC as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
