GreenTech Homes is the genesis of Paul Teruya and Jim Storey, who met while starting up a specialty cabinetry business now known as 4-Day Cabinets. In 2008, they came across the opportunity to build homes in the new subdivision of Jefferson Heights Park in the Southside, a project incentivized by the Lyndhurst Foundation.

For their first homes, they spent hours agonizing over home plans — tweaking and working hard to look at every detail of the home for the best use of space and energy efficiency — a tradition that continues today.
Expanding through downtown Chattanooga, GreenTech now has home sites available in St. Elmo, North Chattanooga, Southside, Red Bank, and beyond.

For us at GreenTech Homes, “green” means incorporating quality, energy-efficient products at every stage of construction. We are constantly researching advances in technology and how it can improve the look and feel of the home, the quality of life for the homeowner and the durability of every home we build. Every member of our team loves what they do – it shines through in how we work with each other and our customers. Above all else, it fuels our spark every time we make a customer happy: when we solve a tricky floor plan to get just exactly the right fit for a busy family; when we find just the right source for a detail to be added to your home; when we see our customers thrilled and excited as the home building process goes on, culminating in when we turn over the keys, and later, when our customers excitedly invite us over to see how they’ve decorated the space we helped create.
