Lancaster County Timber Frames, Inc.

Lancaster County Timber Frames Inc. is a small company of very passionate people. Quality and attention to detail are much more important to us than the volume of output. The people that speak with you here are the same ones that will design, carve and erect your timber frame.

We have been crafting mortise and tenon timber frames of the highest order since well before the company began in 1997. Each and every one of our timbers is carved in our shop, by our craftspeople, by hand. We employ craftspeople, not machine operators. Basically, your frame doesn't have to be designed according to what a CNC machine can or can't do - it can be designed to satisfy your desire for form, grace, harmony, and structural integrity. Isn't that what made you passionate about timber frames in the first place?

We have designed and erected over 400 timber frames. Some have been small and simple; others have been large and complex. While private residences constitute a large portion of our work, commercial projects follow closely behind. In the past couple years, some of our commercial projects include: Siegrist Covered Bridge in PA, Lebanon Veteran's Affairs Hospital in PA, Ambrosia Medical Center in NJ, Gettysburg National Battlefield Museum in PA, Belmont Abbey College Chapel in NC, Great Harbor Yacht Club on Nantucket in MA and the I-70 Welcome Centers in MD.

We provide an unedited list of all the architects and builders with whom we have worked, along with their phone numbers. We also believe it is very important that perspective clients inspect some of our projects firsthand. It's all in the details- the closer you look, the better we look.

What is this?

What is this?

We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.

Comments

In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.

Reviews

Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.
