As with any custom home being built, you are likely to run into a few issues. At the end of the day, i feel like we have a beautiful home, quality construction and a fair price. We would hire them again to build for us.

If I ever have to build a home again, I would go right back to Brown Haven. Everyone says building a home is a nightmare. This was not al all. Great company and great builder!

Brown Haven did a great job with our house. Everything is easy - from initial meeting, to selecting finishes, to the final punch list. We are definitely enjoying our house!

Small walk in pantry vs. floor to ceiling cupboards (pull out drawers). Which would you choose and why? Does either option have cost savings?

If you have the extra space, and depending on its use, a walk-in pantry is a luxurious upgrade. In most cases, where floor space is at a premium, pantry cabinets are the best bet. Looking a a bank of ... read more

Consult a professional. Whether it's 12" or 12' off the ground there are too many safety and code issues for the average homeowner to tackle. Better to do it right than to regret it later.
