Electricians, plumbers, suppliers, and everyone else who makes up the foundation of your team are the people who can explain to you what it is about your business that is or can be, unique. When you have everyone together, answer these four questions: Who is your target demographic, what value will these people get from choosing your business, and what makes your contracting business stand out from the rest.
When you’ve identified what areas of your business make it unique, start focusing on how to make people aware of those special qualities that make you better than the competition. And when you are explaining these things, be sure to be as clear and concise as possible. Testimonials are a great way to showcase your value and reiterate your unique offerings to potential clients.
In order for people to understand what sets your business apart, they’re going to have to believe what you’re saying. Ultimately, you’re not the only contractor out there advertising services, so make sure you’re selling something unique and irresistible to your customers.
