JOMA Construction is an established residential contractor based in Athens, GA. Our roots lie in quality construction and customer service. JOMA Construction was started by John Newland, and now includes a strong team of in-house crews, project managers and advanced technological programs to efficiently complete a wide range of projects. Our success stems from our attention to detail, which can be seen through the superior craftsmanship of our work and the layers of planning that go into each of our projects. We provide work ranging from small renovations and repairs to custom-built homes. We are prepared to meet the challenges of finishing projects on time and within budget; customer satisfaction is our priority.

I hired what I thought was a premier Athens construction company to convert a deck into a sunroom, JOMA Construction. They have been an absolute NIGHTMARE. Here is a partial list of major mistakes that they allowed to happen. 1. Project manager tells us the roofers will be on site a certain day.......
JOMA exceeded my expectations with a tight deadline and went above and beyond on the project. I was so happy that I used JOMA. This is my 2nd time and they did not disappoint. Russ was a great project manager.

This was our second major project with JOMA. The quality of their design and work is excellent. Even though they fell short in meeting our high expectations for timeliness and communications, the end results make recommending them a "no-brainer."

They were terrific to work with. Very pleasant and understanding. This could have been a nightmare as far as dirt, dust and inconvenience but they minimized the disruption and the dirt and dust. JOMA has done two beautiful renovations in my house, including a complete and amazing overhaul of a kitchen and living room, and also a total re-do of a fireplace and hearth. John Newland and his crew have been responsive, creative, and have always come through with cost-effective solutions, and great results.

John and Aaron worked really hard to stay on budget and our timeline which was difficult. They delivered a great result and we are really excited about our new house.

Our new house is beautiful, and as promised is truly efficient. Our energy bills are surprisingly low. The main kitchen/dining/living area is magazine beautiful. We couldn't be happier with the look and feel of the house.
