We're redoing my parents roof and their chimney needs some repair work as well. Is it better to do the masonry work before or after we do the rest of the roof?

It is always better to repair the chimney prior to any roofing work. This way the new roof doesn't get damaged. 
What's the best way to hang a Christmas wreath on the new door? Can a nail be used to suspend the wreath? Elaine Donnelly

It would be in the best interest of maintaining the quality of the material to use an over the door wreath hanger. Happy Holidays
