Very few people seem to say that they enjoyed their building experience, but we had a wonderful experience with Focus. They were truly working with and for us every step of the way. We didn't have to worry about any part of the process because we knew they were on top of it.

Project Manager
Project Manager - Brandon is the best! He took an interest in our family and came to understand what was important to us. He was always quick to respond and worked hard to get us what we wanted, no matter how odd a request it was! He was also patient when we wanted to take our time and do some research on particular decisions.

Meaningful Impact
Meaningful Impact - Yes! It was a really neat experience to think through how we could best build our home to suit our phase and future phases of life. For months we imagined making memories in our new spaces, and now we are doing just that. I think the kids' have grown in their understanding of gratitude as the process has led to conversations about all the people who worked to hard to provide this home for us. We've also enjoyed the chance to reflect on things/spaces that we need and don't need and how we use them.

Focus Builders was a joy to work with throughout the construction of our new home. They feel much more like a partner than just a hired contractor. Even before we purchased the lot, Focus was there as a trusted advisor helping us make an informed decision about whether to move forward. While plans were being drawn, Focus continued to work with us and our architect to help understand the costs and benefits of key decisions. During construction, Focus cared so much about the project's quality it was as if Focus was building the home for themselves. Their attention to detail gave me comfort that the project was being done right at all times. And when challenges arose, they were presented to us with professionalism and were addressed right away so that they didn't become bigger issues later on. There really wasn't even a "punch list" toward the end, because Focus looked for those things on their own so we didn't have to. Now that we are in the home, if we ever have a question, Focus is a phone call or text away with a quick answer. Focus truly wants us to love our new home, and we absolutely do.

Areas Of Satisfaction - Trust and Quality. I am most satisfied with how quickly the Focus team earned our trust. That goes for Seth, Brandon, Becky, and Kimberly...the whole team we worked with. Their expertise was obvious and if anything I feel like they were the ones trying to save us money whenever possible. This trust, coupled with Focus' commitment to quality, was vitally important throughout the process, because it meant I didn't have to worry about the construction and could instead focus on my own family and work.
Project Manager
Project Manager - We certainly had the most interaction with Brandon as our project manager day-to-day, and we are huge Brandon fans! Brandon was committed to getting it right, and we knew we didn't have to look over his shoulder because he was committed to excellence. If there were ever a mistake, Brandon was the first to spot it and get it corrected. Thus, I am also extremely satisfied with the quality of our project. Because of the Focus team's commitment to quality, I feel like no corner was cut during construction. Progress was made every day...there never seemed to be a slowdown...yet the job was done thorougly and never rushed. Brandon had a hundred things to keep track of at all times, and yet not once do I remember seeing him flustered. Brandon's patience, steadiness and level-headedness (and of course his obvious expertise) are wonderful characteristics in a Project Manager.

Meaningful Impact
Meaningful Impact - When we moved in to our home, our children were 6, 4 and 10 months. Seeing them grow up in this beautiful space is priceless. From the banquette around the breakfast table, to movie nights in the family room, to family meetings and the advent wreath in the dining room, to dance parties under the sound system, to the soft carpeted upstairs area to play on the floor, to the flat driveway and yard for riding bikes and playing ball, to seeing all of the baby's "firsts" in this home, to getting to share good memories with friends and family (and hosting cousins who visit!), this has been a very comfortable and peaceful retreat for our family. It really feels like a 5-star resort every time I come home, which I certainly don't deserve and am incredibly grateful for.
