My home had a water leak on Friday evening. Service Master is tied to my insurance carrier, and they decided to show up on Tuesday of the following week. In the elapsed time, I remove 85% of the water damaged house and dried it with my heater and fans. After they we removed the balance of the wet house, they installed dehumidifiers and many fans, so loud. Also, so stinky as the dehumidifiers smelled like raw sewage; I unplugged them. The bill they sent was ~$3000 for one days work. They charged the insurance company, me indirectly, for stuff that I did like all the plumbing and all the electrical. They also charged for the dehumidifiers. Additionally, one worker showed up with no tools and no experience. Not to pick at him, but Service Master just found some inexpensive laborer and up charged the insurance company. Set the fans during the week and said they would be back the next week to retrieve them, but they came on Sunday and then charge the project for overtime.
Terry was terrific. He took good care of us, and was patient. Thanks!
great people great company!
The overall experience was very good. The project was completed in a timely fashion with extra attention to detail and craftmanship. A lot of engineering details were unique to this job and some challenging, but Jim made it all happen !
Everybody from the salesman to the office staff to the installers was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The installation itself was awesome. I highly recommend this company.
