Then installation team arrived on schedule with all necessary equipment and materials. The team leader identified himself and offered to available to respond to any questions. The team started on time and worked briskly. As related in the Rapid proposal, the existing sheathing was identified as being degraded and in need of replacement. Apparently, the existing 3/8" sheathing was original to the construction of the house. They replaced all of the 3/8" sheathing with 5/8". In addition to the roof replacement there were six Velux skylights in the living roof which were furnished and installed to replace the existing which I personally had installed 39 years prior. In the rear portion of the house, the existing leaders and gutters were replaced. The existing fascia was also replaced. Finally, a walk-through and general cleanup was made.
