They also encourage the use of BuilderTrend, an app that has the potential to streamline project management tasks and consolidate company-to-customer communications. We liked the app because it kept communications in one spot for us and for the Advance Design Studio folks. It probably reduces the need for change requests because of the enhanced communication which is a bonus for all. Design. Some projects are not straightforward. Our home is circa 1960-ish and has some creative features…. The team at Advance Design Studio is experienced enough to handle “interesting features” and recommend sensible solutions. We are so grateful for this talent. Flexibility. The supply chain is disrupted in many industries. Advance Design Studio is skilled at sourcing alternates and performed well under changing market conditions. Integrity. This is key. The team is respectful, hardworking, responsible, and patient. For example, during demolition (the loudest and most jarring part of a remodel), I had a high-pressure online presentation to deliver to senior executives. I was unable to find a safe, alternate location in time–this was during Covid lockdown and I was working from home. Our demo crew stopped the tear out for an hour so I could finish my presentation (which was successful, thank you very much). This type of respectful patience is incredibly important when you are building a long-term partnership with a design-build company. It may have delayed a short term schedule, but it has led to a long term trust, and I will not hesitate to work with this team again.
