Comments
In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.
Reviews
Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.

Finding and retaining a contractor is often a crapshoot. You never really know what kind of work you will get until it begins. Vetbuilder.com has restored my 40s era craftsman home in town here. Everything is new and they were able to restore most of the original plaster walls, new electric and plumbing, new kitchen, restored hardwoods...BIG job.They are on time and on budget.

Dennis is correct, NARI is a great resource.
Locate a contractor that has a good relationship with a structural engineer. Between the two, they should be able to come up with a good solution.
