The Gryphon Builders Promise: to provide exceptional customer care and quality craftsmanship to every aspect of a remodeling or custom home building project. It is our goal to create lasting relationships with our clients and to turn your reality into a dream.

Allen Griffin is founder and president of Gryphon Builders. He is a Certified Graduate Remodeler, Graduate Master Builder, Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, and a Certified Green Professional with over 25 years of experience in the building industry.

"The idea of imposing a vision for a home on someone and expecting them to live in it is absolutely unrealistic. As a builder, you need to design something that's adaptive, you need to build in flexibility and you need to allow the homeowner their right to customize it so that it perfectly surrounds the way they live." - Allen Griffin, President

In February 2012, Allen was named the National Association of Home Builders February’s Remodeler of the Month. He has earned several other prestigious accolades including the 2007 National Association of Home Builders Certified Graduate Remodeler of the Year and the 2009 Greater Houston Builders Association’s Remodeler of the Year. In 2010 Gryphon Builders earned the Nation’s First Certified Green Renovation with an Addition under the National Green Building Standard.
