Centra Homes LLC

OUR HISTORY

Early in 2011, President and Founder of Centra Homes Dale Wills purchased the Minnesota assets of one of the largest privately owned residential home builders in the country. Chief among the assets that he acquired was a very experienced and talented team of construction, purchasing, management and sales professionals in the Twin Cities. Centra Homes is continuing to build on that already strong foundation as it pursues new growth opportunities throughout the Twin Cities. Centra Homes remained an active home builder even during the downturn in the housing market. We are recognized as one of the top 10 residential builders in the Twin Cities, and we currently have projects in various stages of development in nearly a dozen different communities throughout the metro. We are proud to be a locally owned company that delivers outstanding quality, design choices and value to home buyers.

THE CENTRA HOMES DIFFERENCE

We are a local builder. Centra Homes is 100 percent locally owned and managed, and we make decisions right here in the Twin Cities. We are part of the communities that we serve, and we also use local subcontractors and suppliers.

We tailor our product to suit the community. As a local builder, we know the Twin Cities market. We do our homework on the individual neighborhoods to understand what type of home product is wanted and needed. Our goal is to provide design options and features that will be the best fit for a community. And whether we are building a townhome in Woodbury or a 5-bedroom home in Waconia, we aim to deliver a product that gives you more home for your money.

We provide an exceptional package of standard features. Centra Homes is working to set a new standard for the home building industry when it comes to providing an impressive package of new home features. With every home we build, we include top-of-the-line products and features, as well as a variety of options. Standard features such as central air conditioning, spacious master suites and advanced air control & heat exchange systems are included in the base price for many of our homes.

We pride ourselves on delivering quality homes at a good value. Centra Homes uses a variety of different strategies to enhance value to our customers. We look for efficiencies that can help save money for our firm, and in turn we also pass those savings on to our customers. Some of those techniques include: Reducing building time by working with subcontractors to fine-tune scheduling. Negotiating land acquisitions to minimize up-front costs. Leveraging buying power to get the best pricing from suppliers.

We take the stress out of building a new home. At Centra Homes, our team has had a hand in building thousands of homes over more than three decades. We use that experience to eliminate potential headaches and make the process easier for you. Centra Homes is here to assist you in every step along the way from design and construction through closing on the purchase of your new home. Our sales and construction teams work in tandem to help you personalize your home, and then get it built right and on time.

We take care of our homeowners. At Centra Homes, we focus on building homes and building relationships. We don’t disappear after we hand over the keys. Centra Homes offers fast and reliable warranty service for virtually anything in your home for the first year. We also warrant our major mechanical systems for two years, and major structural defects are warranted for 10 years.

What is this?

We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.

Comments

In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.

Reviews

Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.

Answers from contractors near Minneapolis, MN

The corner of my roof seems to be sagging and is causing my gutters to leak from that corner. How do I go about fixing this?
Apr 22, 2019
I would rather think your gutter needs a good sealant. If your soffit is sagging, you have some structural issues. Most likely nothing to do with the gutter.
If you get it in writing that your roof installation will not be too heavy for the frame of your home, and a few months later your roof is sinking and the frame is cracking, is the roofer responsible?
Feb 21, 2018
Did you do diligence to see who you were dealing with? Was the roofer licensed or required to be by the state or local unit of governement? ? Was a permit pulled and the job inspected by a building of ... read more
