Soil-Away was founded by Jack Solloway in 1990. The company originated in Bradford, Massachusetts and offered services such as professional carpet and janitorial cleaning. Solloway’s vision for the company was to provide quality service rooted in integrity, while striving to exceed customer expectations. Soil-Away was founded by Jack Solloway in 1990. The company originated in Bradford, Massachusetts and offered services such as professional carpet and janitorial cleaning. Solloway’s vision for the company was to provide quality service rooted in integrity, while striving to exceed customer expectations. This vision soon caught on throughout the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire. Throughout the 1990’s Soil-Away expanded significantly and eventually relocated to Salem, NH.
By the late 1990’s, Soil-Away offered a wide array of services beyond their original carpet and janitorial cleaning. They expanded into commercial facility cleaning maintenance and post-construction clean-up. In the early 2000’s, Soil-Away outgrew its facility in Salem and moved to its current location in Hooksett, NH.
Today, Soil-Away operates in two primary divisions: Cleaning and Restoration. The cleaning side of the business focuses on commercial and residential carpet, furniture, area rug, and hard surface cleaning. The restoration division of the company primarily handles water, fire and mold losses.
In the summer of 2010, Solloway took on a business partner who provided capital and business expertise to strengthen the company. Together they are focused on continuing the Soil-Away vision of quality service, integrity, transparency, and continual improvement. My home was flooded overnight. I woke to my home having water from top to bottom, from the second floor to the basement and garage. I immediately called my insurance company and they sent Soil-Away out. They were here within two hours. They took care of everything. They helped me with what I needed to pack up because I couldn't live in my home. I would recommend them highly to anyone who goes through a disaster or any kind of mitigation like this.

The Soil-Away team arrived at my home at a very stressful time after a frozen pipe burst and ruined a newly renovated living room. My first impression was the team lead's compassion for my situation and comforting me with the plan to get my house dry asap and that they were available in all cases. They worked quickly but safely and explained the plan and process throughout. Each team member was courteous and hard working. They made a very stressful situation for me and my family go away while they also eliminated all moisture and potential mold issues in a few days. I was happy with the great service and end result, but the professionalism, compassion and kind demeanor of the entire team was very impressive and reassuring. Not sure there's a competitor that could approach Soil-Away's service level or attitude. Nice job Team Soil-Away and thanks for taking care or my home and family during a difficult time!

The Soil Away crew was great. They arrived with two hours as my insurance said they would. Each one introduced themselves and was very efficient on each job there manager gave them. All waste from the job was removed. I would recommend Soil Away for any water clean up.
