I had my roof replaced by Apple Exteriors on October 9th 2020. When it came time to do the roof I called ahead of time to ask if anything needed to be moved off the deck for them to complete the job. I then found out that my roof was no longer on the schedule for the planned date and nobody ever called or left a message notifying me. I was told it was pushed back one day so my girlfriend had wasted a day of PTO due to her position working from home. The next day came and no one showed up to do the roof. I called and informed them of this and was told there was miscommunication and they were still working at another house. Again, with no notice, so my girlfriend had to waste another PTO day. Finally the roof was replaced totaling 3 days of PTO wasted when it should have only been 1. After replacing the roof there was still another document from the insurance company that needed to be given to Apple, so we scheduled a meeting with them, but no one showed up or contacted us. Next was the inspection by the city, no one called to let me know when it was scheduled or anything. A city inspector showed up out of blue and failed the roof's inspection for not having pictures of the ice and water paper or of the chimney saddle.The photos were mailed to me a few days after the roof failed. I made Apple aware of this and was told that they were going to set up another inspection. I called apple 2 weeks after the first inspection and was told that they couldn't get ahold of anyone to set it up. A 3rd week went by I called Apple again, and was told they were still working on setting up the next inspection. I got impatient and called the city myself and was able to schedule a inspection for the next day. The roof was going to fail the inspection again due to Apple not providing pictures of the chimney saddle, at which point I had to leave work to come home and take the photos myself inorder to pass inspection. While it was a very frustrating process, Apple DID pay for the failed inspection fee, and the workers did do a great job on the roof.

The people that took down the old siding and the roofing were tremendous. They did it in a short time frame, and it was just a great experience. You can tell they cared about the work they were doing.

The roof installation was done with high quality products and problems encountered during the process were addressed. The company answered all of our concerns with good and prompt communication.

The entire process from beginning to end was easy for me. My husband had just passed away in April and this was the first time on my own, but the office staff and the roofers removed the stress I thought I would have.

Apple did a nice job on my roof and wooden soffits. The scheduling and communication was good. Both crews were late to begin the jobs.

The installation was not finished properly. I had to call them about a leak in my roof. The guy that came out to fix it was very nice and extremely apologetic.
