The customer service was excellent when making my selection, but the installation left a lot to be desired.

The initial contact was great. The digital documents and contract were signed. They failed to show at the first installation, and I had to reschedule. The installers were nice, but it was definitely not a great experience through the installation. They were not prepared. They had to come back an additional time to get new hardware. They needed to use my angle grinder and bit because they had to remove the security bars, and they left the old wheel on and wrong nuts . It was horrible. They called me asking when I wanted my door installed. I told them that they called the wrong number, but they showed up early one day to install, and I had to re-inform them that I had no doors to be installed. Bill was the contact, and I arranged the installation with him. He scheduled the installation. They didn't show up on time one day, so he called me back to reschedule. They came back the following week to do the installation.

It really just comes down to the installation team. They were not very good. There were multiple issues, and the owners are aware of it.

Overall, the communication was stellar, especially from the sales rep. There was a long lead time of 5 or 6 weeks.

I ordered my windows at the beginning of the pandemic and all went smoothly. We all wore masks and were safe. My windows were installed in one day. 9 double hung and a picture. My house is quieter and warmer.
The brickmold transformed the look of my house on the outside. Wish i had done this sooner!

It was easy to work with Zen Windows; I didn't have to sit through hours long presentations on their windows and hear how they are better than everyone else. We love our new windows and the process was effortless.
