My roof issues started with a leak that grew exponentially each day. Total Restoration let me believe they could fix it then had repeated delays in even getting a crew to show up to evaluate the problem. Their answer was to place a tarp on the roof to stop the leak. After that another crew came to remove the ceiling inside and soak up the water. Then no one came back to address the actual issue. It wasn't until the roof collapsed due to the weight of the water on the tarp that Total Restoration said the real problem was the room and roof were prefabricated panels and they had no way to buy the panels to replace the damaged ones. My own search turned up LJ Stone who is the only company in Indiana who is authorized to deal with the panels. By the time their estimator arrived the room had already collapsed and required total replacement. am neutral on my recommendation because I think had they been forthright about their material and labor issues in the beginning, the small leak could have been repaired instead of the replacing the whole room.
Total Restoration General Contractors was there very quickly to survey the damage to our garage. The workers arrived at the time we were told they would be there. Both the drywallers and plumbers, were professional and friendly. They did excellent work on the drywall and utility sink.
Seems like time was of more importance than quality. Cutting corners is a turn-off.
Total Restoration General Contractors was very easy to work with!
The overall performance was very good, but they switched project managers two or three times. However, once they had Adam Sanborn on my project, everything went very smoothly . The office was very supportive, especially Lauren Butler.
The people that did the drying of the room did a great job. No one from Total offered a plumber to repair our leak. The clean up of damaged floor and cleaning of mirror was not completed as the estimator said it would not be something they would have time for. Overall, very disappointed.
They were kind and professional. They are considerate when scheduling followup mitigation around my schedule, but they left a big mess behind. That has been very inconvenient. Then they brought in all the fans, it kicked up dust everywhere. There were pieces and chunks everywhere all over. There was drywall dust on everything. I haven't even had a chance to attempt cleaning all of it up. Apparently, they have changed, and they want to add this type of work to the follow-up activities they do. They should have taken care of all this before leaving. That would my only thing. Now, they are 8-10 weeks out to put the floor back in. So that means 8-10 more weeks for this stuff everywhere. It's a big, open, huge area.
Very quick response time and exceptional quality of work. Communication was first rate!
So far everything's been good I'm waiting to see if the insurance agrees with the estimated amount and I guess go from there
They are very responsive, friendly, and professional.
They still have not come back and completed the project. I am still waiting on the repair portion.
They were amazing to work with, very responsive and made my husband and I feel completely confident it would be repaired and taken care of as quickly as possible.
Total Restoration General Contractors have been very professional. Drew Mortin and the crew have been excellent.
This started at the end of March. The work is still not done and it may be weeks before it is because the materials needed did not get ordered when they should have. We can’t really use our deck until the work is don. It’s the end of May!
It’s now mid July. Still not completely done!
Did fine work but for the money I can’t recommend TR.
Pursuant to an agent of the company giving me information which does not agree with later information provided and no response to my questions related to the aforementioned. see attachment
They came out within 24 hours. I was impressed with that.
The job was good. The communication was not as well it should have been. I was not notified. They did not come back to check the work, to see what else was needed. I did spend more money because they did not come back to see what else needed. They kept the machines in there longer than they should have. They did tell me when they came back that it was still wet underneath. I think it was a waste of money. They could have focused on something else. They should have said it needed more time to dry out.
The team wanted to rip out all of our flooring and cabinets right on the spot. There was little to no information on the time it would take to fix and if in fact the water had damaged more than we could see (requiring the floor being torn up). We did not pursue and had second opinions which proved we did not have to take those drastic steps.
promises were made that I guess could not be kept. After 3 months my pantry still is not repaired and I am right back where i started only now I have a insurance claim on my record and nobody to fix my home.
very efficent did a great job
My project manager Lance has been very helpful and knowledgeable. He has graciously answered all of my questions that I have had throughout the project.
The remediation was wonderful, the restoration was lacking.
They were very kind, up front about my damage, explained what they were going to be doing, explained why they were doing the things they were doing, When I ask questions they answered them, They stayed on the job, didn't even see them take a break. I really appreciated them very much.
Very timely, clean and responsive
They came and put a tarp on the roof. The next two days we had torrential rain and wind, and the tarp came off. I took pictures, and my neighbor and I had to go up there, and more rain got under the roof.
The cleanup crew did an excellent job. Chet did an excellent job of being efficient. The installation manager took too long. I made numerous calls to the manager to get it done. It took three times as long to get it done.
Quick and painless process completing an entire flooring repair and upgrade after my water softener leaked.
There was pressure to accept less repair than what the contract specified
They were punctual, polite, professional, and I was very impressed by how efficient they were.
We have been very impressed with the timeliness of their response. They are working directly with our insurance company. Employees have been very careful about keeping the area clean and safe. The entire situation is flowing smoothly.
The. Job is not finished. Yet. I will answer when the job ie done
We were not happy with the general service they provided. In the end we felt that we ended up with an inferior floor product and frustration with their communication and process.
They were easy to work with.
We are over two weeks since they began and are no where near to being done. The wait time between when someone comes to do something is way too long and not even sure when anyone will be back to even do more work. Seems like a long time just to have a new shower installed and floor put down.
Total Restoration General Contractors dry out and remediation process is well done. I would go with someone else for the reconstruction piece of your project.
They were very professional.
They were fast, efficient, and they communicated well.
They were quick!
Problem Resolution - They came back and did a nice job resolving the issue.
Areas Of Satisfaction - They did a nice job when they came back to fix their error.
Too slow poor communication
Totally professional, from start to finish
Clean - All the professionals involved from replacing the damage floor, rebuliding the floor of the water damaged cabinet and installing the new floor. John Leck and Rob Lawson were there with me in every step.
Recognized Excellence - John Leck, Rob Lawson, Caleb Bolin.
Areas Of Satisfaction - All the above.
Additional Comments - All this was new to me, I have never experienced water damage in my homes. All the people involved helped me to understand every step they were taking to resolve my problem.
They did a great job.
They have exceptional customer service.
There was no estimate given before doing the work.
They did an excellent job. They were professional.
Total Restoration had poor time management. There were multiple times I had them redo things. They had terrible communication. I would never recommend Total Restoration.
They were supper unprofessional, they never returned my calls. I ended up having to be my own project manager.
I was told this would be a 3-day project from October 26th to October 29th. In the end, it took 3 weeks.
The communication with the representative was very sporadic and wasn't consistent it took him a long time to get things done. Overall they did a great job. We don't have any issues. The team of workers did a great job.
