Communication with my assigned project coordinator, Jessi Warner, was infrequent and delayed. I would have liked to receive better responses and more honest transparency about the expected schedule delays between measurement, countertop install, backsplash measurement, and backsplash install. In total, those four things took nearly 2 months to complete.
Kimberly Kaholo was not my assigned project coordinator but I ended up talking with her most of the time because she was much more responsive and easier to communicate with so she does deserve credit.
The process went very smoothly and our countertops are beautiful!

After researching and waiting for THREE YEARS to find the exact countertop for my bathroom and spending $2000, the countertop was made WRONG. I ordered the countertop through The Home Depot. Melissa, who helped me, was the most helpful and professional person I've worked with in a decade. She spent an hour on the computer and on the phone until she was able to find and order the exact counter/sink/backsplash that I wanted. I listened to every word she spoke, and she made it absolutely CLEAR exactly what I wanted: a countertop with two molded-in sinks AND molded-in backsplash. When the men came to my house to install the countertop, I stayed out of their way, so they could work. I never suspected that what they had brought was NOT what I had ordered, and that it was made incorrectly. When I finally looked in to see how the installation was going, I saw that the backsplash was NOT molded in. They were going to have to use caulking to attach the backsplash to the countertop. I had searched for three years to find someone who could make a molded-in backsplash to match my kitchen counters and the guest bathroom counter. I have avoided caulking because it inevitably gets moldy, which is a health hazard that I have done everything in my power to eliminate. When I told the men the countertop was wrong, they told me it was too late because they had already glued it in. They also blamed ME for not telling the person who had measured the space (two weeks before) that the backsplash was supposed to be molded-in. Of course! Blame the customer! How was I supposed to know what the company explained to the employee measuring the space for the countertop? Aren't they the professionals? Isn't that why we hire people and pay them to do jobs that are beyond our skills? If only I hadn't trusted! If only I had looked at the countertop before the men took it out of the truck. If only, if only, if only. So I'm stuck with a countertop that I HATE. When I made my complaint to The Home Depot, I was given the option of a small portion of my money back or to have someone come to my house and rip out the wrong countertop, so the right one could be installed. The bathroom cabinet was made by a private cabinet maker with wood that I picked out from a local specialty wood shop. It was the highest quality wood and took a full year for the cabinet maker to finish, and the final product was a work of art. So my "refund" option is to have disgruntled employees come and rip out the wrong cabinet and install the right one? After all of my efforts to make it abundantly clear exactly what I wanted, hearing the clerk on the phone explain CORRECTLY exactly what I wanted, and trusting that it would be done right---yet to have it completely done WRONG---am I to trust that the beautiful cabinet that I paid a lot of money for and waited a year for will be treated with respect and won't be damaged as the wrong counter is removed and a new one installed? I highly doubt it. So my other "refund" option was a small amount of money returned to me. I didn't care about the money. I was willing to pay whatever the cost in order to have a product that I loved because I was going to live with it for decades to come. Yet, the money was my only choice, unless I was willing to risk having my cabinet destroyed, which I wasn't willing. I will live with the ugly, unprofessional, and wrong countertop in my bathroom. I will never love it and will always resent the whole terrible experience because every time I see it, it will be a reminder of the typical work that can be expected of current American companies. I'm old enough to remember when American-made meant quality. Today it means "take the money and run---to **** with quality." It's a disappointment. I would only recommend Precision Countertops if someone didn't care about what was delivered and done. Only if average, common products were needed. Maybe a house-flipper in it for the money would be content with your work. But I would NEVER recommend Precision Countertop to people who actually care about their home or want something they could love and admire for years and years each time they use the household item that they had carefully and thoughtfully bought.
Every morning when I see the countertops in our kitchen I am reminded what a great idea it was to work with Precision Countertops, to updgrade our home. Thank you again for a great process and and a fantastic result.
You disappointed us with lack of exact communication as to why you would go and build something the customer never asked for . If your gonna cut someone’s butcher block in half then you are to be very specific, verbally and on paper.
The whole process from ordering to installation was the smoothest process of my entire home remodel! No issues at all.
Until there is a satisfactory resolution to the problems listed below I would not recommend Precision

The install had some issues. When they put in the countertop they gouged the wall and acted like it was my fault. Didn’t offer to fix it.

the installers wanted to put a seam in the middle of my peninsula because they felt the slab was too heavy to get upstairs. The refused to reconsider and ended up delivering my countertop for me to arrange getting to the install location. charged additional for the delivery, made me sign waivers limiting their liability and then came back to install once I confirmed the slab was near the install point. Getting the slab upstairs was easy and clean. No issues. But, in addition to the added cost and time, I had to reach out to friends that helped carry the slab. All could have been done by the installers. plus added cost for the tools to accomplish this. Which the installers had on hand. The slab looks great. No seams. As it should be.
Highly recommend Precision Countertops to anyone looking for working surface upgrades
I sent an email to Amber Gibbs on January 4, 2026 explaining in detail the 4 issues I had with the counterop installation that occured on December 31, 2025.
There are a number of things I was really unhappy with as the project progressed. The salesperson Marilyn assured me of a number of things that Precision would handle and take care of where along the way I was told by others on the team "we don't do that" or "that's not right." For example, she told me the countertop portion of the process was all taken care of in "one day" (and backsplash comes later), including implying that the plumbing would be reattached that day. That was not true. Plumber had to come the next day to install plumbing and reconnect range. She also specifically told me Precision takes care of the box extenders and bringing forward the electrical outlets that would need to be adjusted with the backsplash installation. The installers did not have this equipment or information, and the Project Manager told me "we don't do that." I ended up having to have my dad fix the outlets, which were left hot and live with no warning to not touch them, because Precision wouldn't agree to do the work.
When the backsplash installers came out, they told me the plumber was supposed to raise my gas range so that the burners are above the level of the new countertops, otherwise the countertops would crack. The project manager eventually agreed to schedule this for me, but maintained that "this isn't something we're responsible for." Again, Marilyn had told me Precision takes care of everything regarding the range, though I didn't even know it would need to be raised until the backsplash installers told me.
The first plumber also did not use the right equipment to safely move my range, and I consequently have some deep scratches in my hardwood floor. The hardwood flooring specialist I brought out to take a look said my entire floor would have to be sanded and refinished in order to fix it since the scratches are so deep. I'm waiting to hear if Precision is going to cover the cost of that damage.
