We purchased the countertops through Home Depot. The process went seamlessly through Precision Countertops and was scheduled based on our need to have some preliminary work done on our cabinets. We were able to visit their showroom to view slabs of quartz, which aided in our choice. Communication with Precision was never a problem and everyone we encountered was professional and informative.

They did a great job and it was fun to see the whole process.

We had explained our wishes for our backsplash vary clearly. But one of the main pieces was not the right size and they basically used whatever boards they had on truckto support them. They didnt even cut the support board to the same length of backsplash piece. Was told it would be a narrow piece of wood.

Every aspect of the job, from beginning to end, was done perfectly. Communication was consistent and clear. I am extremely happy with the work that was done.

I'm not happy with the outcome after the instillation. The countertop looks great although the color isn't quite as I had expected. I brought home a small sample and didn't notice so much gray in it. The counter has small specs of black that look like it got covered with dust when it was curing. The representative sent me pictures of the product while in negotiation but it is hard to tell colors and minut details on my phone.

Job was done well, product is what I ordered and installed without problems.

The product is beautiful, but the installation is shoddy.

While installing the countertops, the crew made a decision that I should have been asked if I wanted. The decision was to leave a 1/4 inch gap in order to level stone on a small cabinet (~2 ft square next to a stove). That decision made the drawers uneven the the countertop (no longer parallel with one side a 1/4 inch taller, very noticeable). I would have told the installers that in this case that a 1/4 inch slope was better than a countertop uneven with the top drawer, and I would have been happy to sign a waiver or statement saying that is what I wanted (I should have been asked, and it should have been pointed out to me the problem before placing and gluing everything together). To fix this would require taking out upper cabinets, taking granite backsplash down, removing granite countertop, and leveling the stone or the cabinet by a 1/4 inch. Likely this process would have damage the wall and the cabinet, which would have meant weeks to get a new cabinet and construction to repair the gypsum drywall damaged.

I liked that I was informed of all the details. When all the people involved were coming to my home when they would arrive. What to expect. And all my questions that I had were answered. The video’s also were good.
