I really like and enjoyed the process, everyone was professional, everyone was respectful A great experience overall. The only thing slightly inconvenient was time delay / project behind 2 weeks. This was the only thing I did like, it seem like it was taking for ever. Project manager was amazing, very responsive, or even come out to meet me - Ed .
From start to finish, the overall experience was A+. From the first couple sales meeting with Joe, to selections meeting with Catrina to the ongoing project with Ed, everyone was available for quick discussions with any of my questions or concerns.
Overall am satisfied with what we got
Quality, Quality, Quality.. Forget the rest and go with the best. Professional top of their field work..
They were on schedule and very respectful of our house and our living situation.
I regret working with FBP. Thousands of dollars in surprise costs after construction started. All of my concerns were minimized by management, and eventually met with hostility. They pretend to be a super clean cut company, but it's a manufactured image. Staff are nice. Management will bleed you dry as fast as they can.
We had to order a new minifridge because the one they had ordered was too big. We had asked for a smaller one and are still waiting, now 5 months, for it to arrive. On the laundry side, where the plumbing is coming out, nothing was filled in to ensure an aesthetic look. We feel that we weren't taken seriously as clients because we weren't a huge buyer. We were told that we would know when someone would come over by looking at a calendar that they had setup however they never updated the calendar and workers would, sometimes, show up at times throughout the day that no one was setup to come. One of the issues with the backdoor that they fixed ended up bending a part of the dog flap at the bottom of the door. We also noticed that there was a huge chip in the door frame of the backdoor that was overlooked during the initial inspection. It was already hard to get the project manager to respond to us and the only time the project manager did communicate with us was for the payment of the project.
Areas Of Satisfaction - They were very helpful with any questions we had and all workers were friendly and professional
Recognized Excellence - Matt and Zach were amazing to work with, they did an awesome job of keeping us updated on the project and answering any question we had.
Finished Basements Plus was very professional and responsive to requests when I had issues. They had quality craftsmanship.
Sales Knowledge - It was very accurate from what we asked for from the start.
Areas Of Satisfaction - Dan was always proactively checking in and doing check-ups and installs himself. He was a very hands-on project manager and an all-around nice guy. He would just do it himself or pull someone from a close job to fix an issue. Our designer helped us with selections that were kind of stressful sometimes by showing us some guidance. The engagement of the people is what really made the whole project great.
Very happy with our finished basement. It looks & feels great. Our main regret is that the sales & planning team wasn't more proactive about telling us the impact of our initial decision making. Would definitely have spent more money on drywall in the closets if we had known it would result in so many exposed nails & screws -- we have a small child, so that's a bit of a tough outcome.
Recognized Excellence - I was pleased with everyone.
Current Referrals - I will share Finished Basements information with my recommendation.
Additional Comments - It was excellent from start to finish.
They were able to do things safely and did a great job. They made sure to clean up after themselves.
Recognized Excellence - I would like to recognize Jim and Steve as well as Jerry the handyman.
I've already told others about our great experience.
They were completely honest with everything they did. From the day 1 online meeting and introduction, everything that we were told was honored. From the moment we agreed to have FBP do the work on our basement, they were very upfront with the schedule that they promised to stick to and after 8 weeks of working on our home, they finished before the date they told us.
It was a beautiful experience. The guys moved fast and efficiently. My family and I are enjoying our basement very much.
Finished Basements Plus was great to work with. Great workmanship and they kept to their schedule and adapted easily to any changes that we made. Would highly recommend them.
Everything was just very good. Everything.
They are the the best company that get the work done. They make sure that the work crew has the knowledge of how the work is done.
One of the best contractors I've worked with. Quick, professional, and courteous.
Areas Of Satisfaction - Sticking to the overall timing and professionalism
Areas Of Satisfaction - I like the quality of the work.
Recognized Excellence - I would like to recognize Pam.
Overall, we are generally satisfied with the completed project. Our basement does not even remotely resemble what it was. Finished Basements Plus has a formula / system they utilize to get the work done. There were occasional “hiccups” but for the most part, the project ran on schedule. The Builder Trend app project calendar was a valuable tool in tracking pending project activities as well as payments and draws. The FB+ staff was generally courteous and efficient.
Areas Of Satisfaction - I was most satisfied with the outcome of the finish product.
Recognized Excellence - I would like to recognize Steve.
Recognized Excellence - I feel that everyone was really good.
Areas Of Satisfaction - I was most satisfied with the punctuality and the workmanship of the crew.

GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of Finished Basements Plus as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
