I am not satisfied with my installation and I can't get anyone to do anything. You can't call locally to anyone. I can't get any answers and my windows have not been fixed.
Aaron came out and gave a quote for a Patio Door and i got to say very nice polite gentleman. After door was installed and paid for we had Him out again today for replacement windows. I have nothing but very pleasant things to say about Aaron and Champion Doors and Windows of Toledo. I will have him back out for Bay window Replacement After this Installation. 5 Star Rating in my book. Thank You Very Much
Champion lies about replacing their product.
The workers were very good and did a great job.
The contractor that champion sent to install our windows didn’t put any foam insulation around them. When our siding contractor took the siding off, we saw what kind of a terrible job he did. It was ridiculous. The caulk on the inside is so bad that we have to cover it with quarter round. We will never use your company again
Salesman was excellent, but that is his job. Install person was below my expectations and lead to problems with the windows.
The installation crew was fantastic
The job took forever. I understand it's a bad time, but they couldn't get things measured correctly. We had 5 different people try to do the measuring.
Great sales and great products, but miserable communication and follow up.
I am not likely to recommend Champion Windows because of the outrageous cost.
Poor customer service. Installation manager lied numerous times. Pushed off problems to the installers.
They were very good and cleaned up afterward. They were very polite. They did a good job!
They were very professional and finished in a timely manner.
The communication was terrible. Throughout the entire process, we were lied to. We are still waiting for the install and can't ever get ahold of anyone.
The whole experience was very professional, excellent workmenship. We were kept informed of the status of our room construction. Patrick was very helpful in explaining about differences in 3 season versus 4 season rooms. We got discounts from being previous customers of Champion and the incentives that were going on. He helped to get us awesome financing that made our purchase fit into our budget. Ryan, the engineer that came to measure was extremely professional and helpful to make changes in the doors placement to give more seating space. Our installers Eric and Paul were exceptional, each day when they left all trash was cleaned up and they built us a beautiful room. We have had many compliments on our room. I tell them that Champion does a top standard job from start to finish and recommend Champion to anyone looking for a quality experience.
They did a good, thorough job.
They were fast and provide good service.
Good quick work. Very knowledgeable installers.
The siding quality seems very good, but I still have several issues from installation that have not been resolved
Customer service sucks. I called multiple times left voicemails also left messages with people. Someone from my local office finally called me and it was only after I sent pictures to the champion Facebook page. Then when I did talk to him he talked over me the entire time and just gave me excuse after excuse. Out of all the issues I had only one was fixed and it shouldn’t have even been an issue if I would have gotten a call back after the first message I left
Patrick the salesman came to my house at the end of January. He was very polite and helpful. He sold me on the product and service. Made everything sound awesome! By May I had not heard anything about when they were going to start install on my siding so I call. The lady tells me they were just waiting on the product to come in. About a week later I get a call saying they want to come and start . They started on May 17th. They were seriously only show up 1-2 days a week. I tried calling Champion before they stated on the back of my house because I had a deck that went up against my house and I wanted siding to go under it. So I called to see if I had to have the deck taken off so they could get under it. I left a voicemail twice. The 3rd time I called I finally got through to a person and told her how the guys are never there and it’s taking them forever, how they leave my yard a mess, asked about the deck, she told me she would call the Toledo branch and leave them a message to have someone call me. In the meantime the workers did the back of my house and didn’t go under the deck. So the next week when I still haven’t heard from them I call back talk to a different person she tried to call Toledo right then and no one answered so she said she left a message with them. By this time I am completely fed up. It’s week 6 they are about half way done and no one is calling me back. I went ahead and removed the part of the deck but they had already finished the back part of the house so I knew nothing was going to get done with it. So I start taking pictures of the mess they leave every night. The fast that they would leave ladders up against my house for 5 days at a time and l not work any of those five days. So I send them to the champion Facebook page messenger. I get a response that they are going to send them off to the Toledo branch. So the guy from toledo finally calls me after 6 weeks of me trying to get ahold of him. He tells me excuse after excuse. He keeps talking over me not letting me say anything. He tells me that siding is messy and that it will be totally clean when the job is done. He then tells me that they only hire the best and it has taken long because it’s only a two man team and they have a long drive to get to my house so if it rains they won’t waste their time. I tried telling him that it hadn’t rained at my house for 3 weeks and they were only workin 1-2 days a week. But he didn’t want to hear that. So then he tells me I should have told them I was removing the deck so that could be sided. I said how was I to do that when I have tried getting ahold of you for 6 weeks and this is the first phone call I have gotten. I said I work 50 hours a week. I am not here when the workers are here because they are never here anyway. I said why didn’t they call me and tell me to remove it. Why didn’t the guy who came and measured tell me that it would have to be removed? Why didn’t the sales guy tell me? I am not a professional sider I don’t know if the have a way of getting under the deck to install. So then he tells me they will figure out a way to side it. So I won’t bring up the gutters but I had issue with that too. So they actually come and work on a Friday and Saturday to get finished and they leave my yard a complete mess. The best siders you guys hired left crap everywhere. I accidentally ran over some with my mower. Thankfully it didn’t ruin it. I had lots of family ready to do work on their houses and I will not be recommending champion.
You don't know when they are coming and when they weren't. And, they didn't complete everything they did. They had to come back out.
They were very professional, courteous and handled all problems quickly and efficiently. We are very satisfied and the windows look really good.
Look elsewhere for your windows. The sales people make a good show of the product, but the installation and service after the sale is completely lacking.
We had two projects with Champion: sunroom and whole home window replacement. It took over SIX months to get project started. The sunroom was completed satisfactorily. The window project is a nightmare. The “colorbond” finish on most of our windows is defective - on the interior you can see incomplete coverage on many of the sliders; on the exterior there are finish coverage issues on several windows. They used a clear UNPAINTABLE / UNSTAINABLE silicon caulk around the interior window frame, leaving previously unstained wood visible and impossible to finish. Two screens do not seal to the frame properly leaving a 1/4” gap for insects to get into the house. Four windows did not have screens yet the installer expected me to sign off on their work. Company reps came out a week after install to review my concerns an promised to call me with their plan to repair / replace defective windows and correct the caulk issue so I can properly finish the visible old jambs. After 3 tries I finally got a call back from the new installation manager (a week after he promised to call me) and he told me he would call me again by the end of the day with an update. REALLY?This company is all about the sale. Once you sign the contract it os almost impossible to reach someone as you generally get dumped into voice mail and messages left are not returned. I would NEVER use this company again and will NEVER recommend them to anyone!
