What is the temperature range for installing roof shingles

I would recommend not less than 40 degrees. If the shingles are a dark color in direct sunlight they will seal in one day from the solar radiance from the sun even if temps are low. 
I have trim boards to install that will cap over exposed block foundation. What ways should I attach these? They will be primed and painted when installed.

I would suggest construction adhesive which will attach the trim boards while also providing a capillary break between the block and the trim board so that moisture does not wick into the trim boards. ... read more
