AHP in Huntsville seems to be full of false promises and slow responses. As a manager with a company that makes manufactured homes, I guess I expected too much quality from AHP. GM had a warranty person come out to fix things around the house and was helpful, but also told me I was expecting level 5 dry wall but that wasn't what I paid for. I do not expect level 5 dry wall, I expect painters not to leave paint on places paint does not belong (light fixtures, tubs, flooring, sinks), for paint in corners not to be all over the baseboard / tilework, for door frames to be level, for walls not be warped, for outlet covers and door hardware to be installed level, for shower doors to be installed straight (apparently the wall is not level), for caulking and sealants to look half decent. I knew selecting AHP that we were going with a non custom builder to help reduce cost, loved the selection processes and stress free processes. We went in with the expectation that we'd do upgrades as we went to move up from "builder grade", what I didn't expect was the poor quality and to felt dumb every time I request a fix- or just for emails and text messages to just go unanswered. Then once fixes were done and didn't look great, I just said "thanks" and moved along because I didn't need someone who proved to do poor job twice to come back.

I wouldn't recommend them to my dog.

I would recommend to any family or friends. Great construction, loved that I was able to use my VA loan. The team was great.

They were amazing, and I have no complaints. Through the entire process, they were wonderful. They made the building experience enjoyable.

This was a great group of folks to plan and execute our custom home. We have already recommended two families to pay y'all a visit and see what this group is about. Your business model it top tier!

Our experience with Americas Home Place was exceptional. They were very organized from start to finish. I chanced my mind on a couple selections and they worked with me to get me what I wanted.

The attention to detail was not there. Wrong shower door put in resulting in poor craftsmanship in the shower tile. There is markings on the drywall. Air duct was put in the wrong place on second floor so they had to cover the hole up. The air conditioning was installed improperly cause the tray to overflow and water dripped down the insulation and drywall into the bedroom and the the dining room ceiling.

I would be hesitant to recommend AHP to a friend due to the issues we had with craftsmanship during our build. If I were to build again today I would likely choose to build with another company with higher quality standards.

America’s Home Place did a fine job, and I was very pleased with the workers.

The sales experience was long and tedious. I put my deposit down in August, but getting the special pricing was complicated. I wanted a custom built home. It took six months to close the application. It was tedious.

The whole staff at AHP was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. Morgan and Gracie were very helpful in designing our house. Devin and Aaron took care of the build which went perfectly and Terry at the warranty department helped take care of a couple minor issues. We love our house and couldn't be more pleased with the whole process. We would highly recommend AHP of Greer SC!

I would and do highly recommend America's Home Place. From the start Ty was great with sales and helping us customize our layout to fit our family. Plus picking out our materials and finishes he was top notch. Brandon the General Manager really brought it home with being available and checking on any major issues and having them resolved promptly and correctly. Lastly, but definitely not least was Chad. Chad was AWESOME!! Always timely and available to talk and answered questions fast and reliably. He was always the go to guy to get things done and get it done right. Always laid back and super personable.

The timeline was faster than projected and am very happy with the build quality and finishes. The pricing was provided early in the process and was accurate throughout the build.
