America’s Home Place was one of the most reputable and straightforward organizations I have dealt with in a long time. They told me what they were gonna do. They told me what it would cost and everyone stayed on that path and anytime I need information they provided it.

The overall experience with AHP was a good one. I would recommend to a friend but would definitely recommend that they just use AHP for everything even with the 18% fee the hassle between using separate contractors for things was really aggravating. It really shouldn’t be that difficult of a process if you want to use your own people for certain parts that AHP allows.

The design and building process was simple. Great experience! Building our home while living in another state was problem free. Staff was accessible by phone while living 80 miles away and we were confident all was being taken care of even though we weren't able to visit daily or weekly. Highly recommend the Greenville/Spartanburg office. Morgan, Gracie, Tanner, Devon, Terry and lastly George (warranty staff person) were amazing and very helpful! This is our only home building experience and forever home but if we were to build again, we would definitely choose AHP and will recommend whenever given an opportunity. Very satisfied with the quality of workmanship evidenced by the fact that very few items needed to be tweaked within the first year of warranty.

AHP was the best to work with! They were always very knowledgable and kept us up to date every step of the way. They built our house in record time, 49 days. I cannot thank them enough for everything that they did for us!

Overall, this was a very good company to work with. All costs were made known and there were no surprises. As we lived out of state during our build, the frequent posted pics of our home were much appreciated. The company was responsive to our frequent questions, and were available to meet on site during our monthly visits to check on progress made.

The quality of work is fairly poor. The longer I'm in the house, the more low quality work I see.

The quality of work for some of the sub contractors was lacking. For example, the tongue and groove in the vaulted ceiling was very poorly done the first time around; it was fixed partially. On going concern is the driveway that has numerous cracks and appears to be disintegrating in places. This issue is still outstanding.
