We have and will be recommending AHP for future persons interested in building.
The friendly and professional environment of AHP, the desire to help you fulfill your dream home and the reliability to do it, Is the reason why I recommend to have
America’s Home Place building your home.
I have had several people stop bybthe build while I was at the house. Everyone including myself was very please with the site.
Overall, they did a good job, but they were specific things they failed on.
Chris Matthews, and ALL the staff have shown
care and concern for me. I love my house,
and know if I need any help or change, I can call and get a quick answer!! VERY pleased!!
I’d never previously been willing to build a home because of the aggravation factor I’d heard from those who had. Had I known it could be as easy you made it, I’d have built all my previous homes as opposed to buying them already built.
Limited selection of options, like appliances (usually only one or two choices), wall paint type (no latex choice), fixtures (one toilet type/brand/model), and countertop (couldn't get butcher block). We had no issues with any employees, just in the limited choices.
I had no problems with them. Everything went right with me.
No I would not want anyone I care about to experience the frustration and lack of communication from the project management.
Sales office I would recommend.
They are nice ppl to work with overall, most of the job was fine, but the project manager didn't follow through on some stuff.
We are likely to recommend America's Home Place to a friend. Andy was definitely someone that made our process so much easier and smoother. We built during a difficult time where supply chain was a challenge, but still America's Home Place was able to give us resolutions. Thank you!
I consulted with multiple home builders prior to deciding to work with America’s Home Place. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a new home. Lowell and his sales team were straight-forward, extremely helpful, and got things moving along very quickly. We broke ground within just a few weeks of our first visit to the Alvin, TX office.
I was particularly pleased with the quality of the materials, workmanship, and Brian's responses when I would call him after I moved in. There were no problems that I found. He addressed them quickly and efficiently.
Very good overall experience.
I would recommend these guys. I know it was difficult times due to COVID. I believe they were in uncharted territory with materials and things but they held strong and did the best they could. They worked with us on everything and tried to keep us informed and calm through the crazy time.
I would recommend AHP. They made the whole process from picking out the house plans to getting financed very easy.
They sell it very well in the beginning and the paperwork was done beautifully, but the materials were cheap and the labor wasn't supervised.
WE will definitly recommend AHP to other friends and co workers to build with!
Overall we were happy that we chose to build with Americas Home Place. We do feel like we got the second (or third) string subcontractors, but AHP tried to make things right.
The house was built great, and everything looks good to me except the Air condition unit, that was under capacity (for 1564sqft home I would expect at least 3-ton A/C but only 2 tons unit was installed) and it is running 24/7 in peak summertime which is very inconvenience and in efficient even though I did bunch of upgrades like closed cell foam in the attic and 2x6 exterior walls etc. I have stated many times that I will pay the difference money to upgrade to 3 ton A/C and they did not give me any option to do that and rather they asked me to pay full amount to replace with 3 tons A/C.
I would never recommend your company. There are still unresolved issues.
I would likely recommend but with comments of things that I was not happy with.
Sorry but after my experience I would never recommend a friend or family member to ahp
America's Home Place built our dream retirement home to our exact drawings in budget with great quality and attention to detail. Danny Early did a great job ensuring our satisfaction with both the home and the extensive grading needed. Bo Byrd did a great job communicating house progress to us and ensuring our needs were met. Courtney did a great job planning multiple layouts of homes with us and picking out materials. The office team always followed through when we called for anything. All this through the pandemic is a testament to the Macon team to drive through obstacles to deliver for their customers. Thanks to all of them for a job well done and highly recommend them for your home build.
There were excellent to deal with. All of the guys were great.
GuildQuality partners with it's member companies to survey their customers and collect detailed feedback on their behalf. By administrating surveys as an unbiased third party we ensure that customers have the oppurtunity to express their true feelings about a project and that members get the most accurate and detailed feedback possible.
When a survey contains the "Review" question, that customer's answer will show up on the member's profile page as a public review. Members have the option to turn off reviews but cannot hide individual reviews. It's all or nothing. This means that any reviews you see on a GuildQuality profile page are real comments left by the customer and verified by GuildQuality.
Each item listed under "Customer satisfaction" represents a specific question asked by GuildQuality to customers of America's Home Place as part of our survey process. The bar graph and percentage next to the question stand for the percentage of respondents that were "Satisfied" about that particular question.
A customer is considered satisfied about about a question if they answered with 4 or more stars out of 5. For example if the "Communication" question is at 95% satisfaction that means that 95% of survey respondents answered that question with 4 or more stars out of 5 possible stars.More about surveys
