Thomas was great to work with on the sales side, even during the start of Covid. Byron Davis was an excellent project manger and worked tirelessly to make sure the house was exactly what we wanted, We were at the house site frequently during the construction process and the work site was always kept clean. The subs performed at a high level and everything was finished in a timely manner as much as possible with expected delays (again due to Covid ) of certain building materials. We highly recommend Red Door Homes of Knoxville and Bryon Davis in particular. as project manager.

They were very efficient. The only issue was when the windows were delayed due to Covid, but that's not their fault. Everything else was fantastic.

They are among the most honest, diligent, and trustworthy people I have ever dealt with!

Easy communication, good work, a little behind schedule, but overall we were satisfied and we would choose Red Door Homes as a builder again.

We found the people at Red Door to be honest and straight forward. They helped us stay on top of costs, didn't hide what was included in their base price and what would be an additional work order. If I wanted something that wasn't on their standard list of products, they helped me find it. Our construction manager, John, has stopped by twice during our first year, just to make sure everything is still the way is should be and that we are still happy. This is the second house we built. The first was a nightmare. I love my home and am not planning on building again, but if I did, it would be with Red Door Homes of Knoxville.

We picked out the kitchen granite tops and when we stopped by the building site and saw it, it looked so much better in person. It clicks together better than you can imagine. While our home was under construction we actually had people stop by and look around. I would recommend Red Door Homes and tell them what a great group of people to work with and how reasonable the price was. I'd refer them to the Red Door Homes website.

Areas Of Satisfaction - Making our home wheelchair accessible. 36" wide doors throughout the home, including exterior doors, ramps at each entrance, rooms large and easy for me to get around in, wide sidewalk from the driveway around to the back patio, lowered the vanity in the master bath, lower mirrors in both bathrooms so I can see myself, thermostat lower on the wall so I can adjust temps, just to name a few.

Design - The guys at Red Door did an amazing job at making our home accessible for me. What I didn't think of to modify, one of them did. This home inside and out is totally wheelchair accessible for me. I couldn't be happier!!!

Recognized Excellence - Michael Brummett is hands down a rock star! He was on site practically every day. He "owned" the project by taking responsibility for driving the reno. (I get that its his role - but not everyone can deliver on the promise.) He's incredibly creative, collaborative, open to feedback and he wants the homeowner to be happy. He can problem solve on the building side as well as see the project from the homeowners eyes at the same time. I would recommend him to anyone for a renovation or a ground up build. I completely trust him. He takes pride in his work and truly enjoys people.
