We had a bath tub shower replacement project (via Bath Planet) finessed by Kodiak Construction about three years ago. The customer experience before during and after was exemplary. The sales professional was courteous, thorough and a reliable contact through the project cycle. Installation occurred about on schedule and with high competence. The new shower is as functional and aesthetically pleasing today as it was on day one. Well done..
I selected today's date but the truth is our project hasn't been completed. We signed contracts in June and August 2019 for 2 separate projects and haven't heard from the company since November despite multiple phone calls and physical appearances at the office. Have filed a BBB complaint and considering legal action to get our money back. Very disappointed as we have used them in the past and have been very happy with work in years past.
They did a good job and were efficient, capable and cooperative.
Highly recommended.
The crew that they used were very hard working and courteous. They went out of there way to get everything done. They were nice guys.
I love the new front door!
We are satisfied with the overall quality of the work. I do however have a couple of caveats. First, one of the issues we were having with the house and original siding was some kind of staining coming down onto the fascia & soffet from the roof drip edge. This was discussed with the sales person as needing to be dealt with and we were assured that it would however none of that was related to those actually doing the work, in fact when I discussed that with them I was told there was nothing they could do about it. Very well, I can accept that but then so be up front with me when that was discussed. Better attention to some finishing detail could be better; trim around some fixtures is not square, some of the siding and flashing & soffet was actually dirty (dirt & shavings from cutting the materials) and though the ground around the house was cleaned up fairly well, part of the job should include power-washing the completed work. Also once the job was completed I was immediately asked to sign the doc stating I was completely satisfied with the job. No time was given to actually inspect the work (they were still cleaning up), the person with that paperwork did not offer to walk around to inspect the work, I was just handed the papers, asked to sign and when I hesitated some subtle but high pressure sales tactics were employed; if you don't sign the guys working on the house won't get paid, if you do find any issues we will return to take care of them, etc. Also the actual sales form initially filled out is poorly written. On the second day of the job it was discovered that though the color of the siding was correct, the actual style was not. Kodiak acted very promptly to correct that getting the correct siding to the house in short order but any confusion could have easily been avoided if the form actually had a specific spot to indicate color and style, instead everything pertaining to the order all gets hand written in one big section. Overall we are pleased with the work, I just think for the price paid more attention to the details I mentioned should be included.
Areas For Improvement - They did not fall short of my expectations.
Areas Of Satisfaction - I was satisfied in all areas.
Areas Of Satisfaction - Workmanship, had windows installed the product line meet all of our expectations . Sales and staff were very helpful and respectful of our concerns
Additional Comments - I would recommend Kodiak Construction. Based on our job would look to them for any other projects or updates we have in the future.
I am very happy with Kodiak Construction. They did an exemplary job from start to finish. I've gotten a couple different things down with them, and they have been timely, as far as installation, awesome, and they are a great company.
Areas Of Satisfaction - They were very polite. They always asked or called first on what they were going to do. I had a little problem that had nothing to do with what they were doing. There was a hole in some wood and they covered it with a material that matched it perfectly. They just did that, they didn't have to.
Additional Comments - They are very professional and very good.
Kodiak Construction is a 5 star company. They explained things on a level that you can understand by not being disrespectful. They take all the time to help you make an educated decision. A top notch company that I would recommend to anyone. The cost is higher but you get 20 warranty on parts and labor. So the cost my be a little higher up front but it is an investment for your home and the quality can't be surpassed.
We were happy with them and would recommend them.
I met with 5 different companies and received estimates for my windows. I chose Kodiak Construction because the quality of windows, presentation, and friendliness of the salesperson out ranked everyone else. If I had a question I was able to call my sales guy, Mike, and he was able to explain everything very thoroughly.
We are totally satisfied.
Kodiak Construction has done windows (complete home) upstairs, down on main floor, and my porch. They constructed two decks, carpeted upstairs/down on main floor, new floor on porch, dinning room, kitchen, bathroom, and back room. They put in a new slider and two new entry/storm doors. I had them put in some new kitchen cabinets, back splash and two drop ceilings (kitchen and office). They put new cabinets in utility room. Redid my bathroom with new shower (removal of tub) and new vanity, toliet, and linen closet. I also had them put in new basement windows, driveway. I am having them put a new garage on the end of the driveway. Oh, my, I guess I am one proud and happy customer.
I was pleased with Kodiak Construction, my overall experience was very good. They met all of my expectations.
The salesman answered our questions over the phone and came out and gave a good explanation. The installation man answered further questions. We were well prepared on what was going to happen.
I love the guy who put the tub in. He was a hard worker and it was a lot of work to do. We had plaster, so it took a lot more time to complete. He did a nice job. It is easy to clean and it still looks brand new.
From start to finish Chris Kress worked with me very patiently and professionally. I was kept well informed by Sue Whitford. The whole process of getting a new roof was as good as it gets. I would recommend working with Energy Plus Home Improvement.
