Design Team - I had a rough design in my head when I met the Cowdin team. They helped me translate that design to the real world, making suggestions along the way that met my needs and exceeded my expectations. They also solved a "roofline matching" problem in a creative, cost-effective, and really beautiful way.

Cowdin completed my project in a very professional manner, The workmanship is outstanding. The materials and attention to details met our expectations. There were challenges with timing commitments that did not meet expectations. That being said I believe a delay in completion is significantly overshadowed by the collaborative working relationship we built with Cowdin and the craftsmanship that was built into our project.

Although we had a small job we worked with a great team. From design to the electricians, to completion we couldn't have been more pleased.

Cowdin Design + Build recently completed a basement (walkout) finishing project, on-time, on-budget, and the work was outstanding. Their crews were fabulous to work with, from the carpenter, to the electrician, to the painter and especially to the designer and on-site project manager, we can't say enough how pleasant the experience was. We had looked at a total of 5 companies before choosing Cowdin and wanted someone big enough to be there when we needed them, but small enough to make our project a priority and accommodate any changes or wishes we might have. We definitely made the right choice, and will use them in the future, and certainly recommend them to anyone we can, they have a customer for life and we are thrilled with the completed project and the partnership we had throughout the entire process.

From the first time we met at the Novi Home Show and throughout the whole design and build process Bill and his staff were very professional and made sure we were comfortable with all aspects of the process. Questions and concerns were promptly addressed. We especially like their website where all documentation was stored, design documents, budget and change orders, photos and selections are easily accessed.Bill or Jake came to our home every day to check on the progress to insure we were satisfied. Every sub contractor took every precaution to keep our home and project area clean and safe. The sub contractors were very professional the quality of their work exceeded our expectations.We had planned to do this project for 2 years and went to the big box stores for quotes but never felt comfortable with their design approach or contractors. On a whim we went to the home show and after talking to Bill we gained the confidence to go forward with the Master Bathroom remodel. We now have a bathroom like you would see in a magazine or on a home remodeling show...spectacular.

We did a 4-season addition with porch and mudroom area off the kitchen/ dining areas. We also re-roofed the entire house, did an attic insulation blow-over, and painted walls and refinished hardwood floors throughout the existing living areas. It was a big project spanning two months non-stop. We had interviewed 3 design/build companies before selecting Cowdin, and we couldn't be happier with the result! At every step, Bill ensured our comfort and minimized the disruption to our daily life. Communication and follow-through was excellent. Our wish to collaborate was welcomed, and he shared our collective creative vision via CAD design and rendering tools to help us visualize the project during the planning and decision making stages. To help us participate in the construction phases, he used a web-based project planning tool called BuilderTREND that allowed us to monitor progress and approve change orders online. The project started and ended on-time with excellent coordination among the many contractors involved. Cowdin focuses on build a relationship with us. He blends technology and soft-skills on the client side with top-notch contractors on the execution side.
