I told the staff 3 x"s the size of my air filters. When they arrived they did not have my size and requested that I go and buy my own filters.I don't know what they actually did to service ,but, In felt like it was a sales pitch to update my unit.

Should I be worried that external doors in my home are shifting to a point that I can't lock them without lifting them up?

I would be concerned... sounds like you have some sort of issue if the gap is gettting larger. I definantely would contact a local professional door installer.
