Very prof.
Professional and clean work.
The window and installation went well. The locks go different ways on each window on our big slider. I there's also unhappy with the difficulty of scheduling the "quality Inspection". I had a feeling maybe it was to sell us some more services. We wound up signing a contract for vinyl siding. It was an extremely large amount of money and I felt pressured to sign the contract because if we didn't sign it at that moment the price would go up dramatically. I really don't like that type of sales tactic. I have also seen other negative comments about the company regarding that sales tactic. It is very possible that we do need the siding that we are spending a fortune to receive however I would have liked to have gotten another estimate just to make sure that I'm not overpaying. I had received an estimate from another company for the windows that you wound up replacing but I did not do so for the siding because I felt I would wind up paying more money if I waited. I'm confident that the siding will be done well I'm just not confident that the need was his dire as it was made out to be. Brian, the manager that we were working with was very nice and polite and did ask several times if I was okay with it but I made myself be okay with it.
Every member of the team we met with was friendly professional and knowledgeable. We love our new windows.
The speed with which everything was done after signing the contract.
More likely to refer people with some type of incentives
They are knowledgeable at what they do and do it right, no short cuts
This was my first project with Power Home Remodeling. The price was very reasonable. I loved the Pulse app for managing the project. I was very satisfied that I had Power Home Remodeling do another project.
They did excellent job installing the windows keep it professional and clean.
Seemed to be very good. The push to sell was strong. Not easy to compare with other options.
This company ROCKS. First, we did POWER windows and doors b/c of VERY high utility bills. However, POWER found rot at windows & told the bosses who came to look/evaluate. THANK GOD! The rot was far more extensive than windows and doors. Tha boss showed us where the 40+yr old vinyl siding was done wrong on our 100+ yr old house. Of course there was no house wrap, as it didn't exist back then. Drainage was so bad (we were shown where) that extensive work was needed to fix the many problems. Mold in the attic showed NO ventilation. DISINTEGRATED wood existed in many places. If POWER hadn't found this terribly big problem, our home would have continued to rot around us!
These folks were on the job and dedicated to your satisfaction. There were only a few things that could be improved on. The fact that we have 1940s windows in our old home, meant that there were voids on each side of the windows about 2 to 3 inches wide and 4 inches deep for the counter weighted windows, that means a dead spot in the walls on each side of the airtight windows. we just recently did some renovations in the master bedroom and when we took the paneling down to drywall there was light and air coming from those areas that may not make it past the drywall, but unfortunately radiates cold or hot through that area into the home. I asked them about that space before the installation and was told it would be addressed by the sales person, but the crew said that they do not do that.
The next issue was with the pricing, doors were just way out of line, and didn't want to pay that for a door, ever!
Then they charge by the unit for windows instead of the size and time that it would take to do each window. that made the job very expensive when you have some very small windows and they still charge the unit price of thousands for each unit.
The last was no one cleaned the windows or the sills after installation, there was caulk and debris, smudges and prints so we had to clean all the windows and vacuum and wipe the sills instead of feeling like we could just enjoy them for the money instead of working on them right after they worked on them.
I also have one window that is not working properly, and some of the weather stippings are coming out also on others, and some yellowing on the sliders for some reason.
We appreciated how the timeline and schedule for the work was laid out and updated throughout the project.
Attic guys did fantastic. Windows guys were nice and professional but no one spoke English so it made it very difficult to communicate. The lead guy was super nice, but is not fluent in English so we had to use a translator app to communicate. I would recommend the attic work but not the windows.
The salesman did a good job at presenting the product and representing the company. The job was completed and our house looks good. The workers were friendly and respectful. Customer service was always very helpful.
Very professional, quick, clean and precise
Incredibly expensive and used “today” pricing predatory sales tactic. The actual workers were terrible - did about zero cleanup of nails scattered everywhere. Damaged my window screens and deck by being careless not applying the contractual surface coverings. Their boss did not show up on time and the workers couldn’t/wouldn’t communicate anything to me. (And customer service was unavailable during some of the hours the crew was working,) The only reason you’re getting two stars instead of one is that I do believe it’s a good product and I see the value of the longevity and warranty.
I am very dissatisfied with the temperature tests I have been taking on these new windows. Some of my old windows that weren't replaced actually test better than the new windows that were just put in. Very disheartening that I paid so much money for these windows and they don't perform like the salesman told me they would. The hot lamp test that he did is complete bogus and that should not be used in your presentation. Real life test is where it's at. And that's what I did. Your windows do not perform anywhere near what I was told. I have a temperature chart to prove it.
Excellent Windows. We can really tell a difference in how warm our house is now. Install crew was excellent.
Price is high but expected from type of window and quickness of install
Power Home Remodeling does very clean work. They do not leave any trash behind.
Let us reach out to other companies for estimates on the work.
very responsive to concerns
Was not expecting to have to calk and paint exterior of window shutters
Delayed install twice, more than a month late.
Screen door not right. Was first told man would be out to adjust in a couple days. Month later , still not working. I never make final payment until job is done, but you went and ran my credit card immediately without my authorization. Bad business practices.
