Kim Thonn, Kalan Homes' Builder, has been building custom homes for over 20 years and been involved in an array of home building responsibilities from sales & customer service to field and construction managing.

In 2005, Kalan Homes, franchised EPCON Communities in the Greater Lafayette area to bring the 80 home community, Ravenswood at Hickory Ridge, to Lafayette.

Due to Ravenswood's great success and with much support from the community, Kim began development on a 92 home community, The Villas at Stonebridge, in West Lafayette.

Kim's priority is to provide customers a finely-tuned, detail-oriented, custom home building experienced by using local vendors and workmanship as often as possible.

This is also part of a larger commitment Kalan Homes has made to building 100% of homes Energy Star Certified and are part of a community that values open, green space as well as responsible planning and development.

Kim is a Certified Green Professional and Certified Aging in Place Specialist with the National Association of Home Builders and employs that expertise in each home built. Kalan Homes uses a hands-on, 600+ Point Inspection and has a Field Manager present during construction daily to ensure quality.
