The Villas at Timber Run

After years of searching for the perfect business opportunity and the right product with which to venture out on their own, Tom and Sara Joyner visited an Epcon Community in Dublin, OH. Immediately drawn to the beauty of the communities, architecture of the homes, the quality of the construction, and the genuine satisfaction of their customers, it was clear that this was the perfect opportunity upon which to embark on a new adventure. So, in the spring of 2006, they formed Joyner Homes and became an Epcon Communities Builder Partner later this year. Together, they bring strong educational and work experiences along with a good old fashioned Midwestern work ethic and small town values.

Tom and Sara’s partnership began as high school sweethearts in their hometown of Newark, OH. They later attended Miami University together in Oxford, OH, and married in the spring of 2000. They now reside in Greenfield, IN with their two adorable daughters Josie and Tessa, their newborn son, Jack, and their dog Trigger.

Tom’s background is in Engineering, Construction Management and General Contracting. Tom earned a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering. His previous work includes such projects such as the $16 million Huntington Beach South Beach Renovations, the $35 million Huntington Beach Sports Complex, over $50 million of public school buildings in Ohio as well many other residential and commercial projects.

Sara’s background is in Accounting, Finance and Small Business. Sara graduated Cum Laude in Business Administration with majors in both Accounting and Finance. Sara has worked at large companies such as KPMG as an Auditor and Computer Sciences Corporation as a Financial Analyst, but also has worked in the banking and small business arenas as well.

The Joyner’s are proud to bring Epcon’s strong reputation of quality to the Greenfield community and are truly enjoying the opportunity to live and work with their neighbors in greater Hancock County.
