Spectrum Painting

Spectrum Painting was founded in 1989 with a sharp eye for detail and strong work ethic. Our reputation for fine workmanship and a neighborly approach to pleasing our customers has evolved into one of the most reliable residential and commercial painting contracting firms in New Jersey.

Today, Spectrum Painting and Paper Hanging has multiple painting crews with expertise in every requirement for a professionally performed project. Our operational processes are built to make sure that you will be thrilled with us every step of the way.

OUR SERVICES:

INTERIOR PAINTING Is our specialty. We do everything from fine finishing to Commercial repaints. We tailor each project to fit the customer’s specific needs and budget. We do extensive preparation, including thorough covering and cleaning up so as to ensure that your home or office space is left clean once we have completed your painting project.

EXTERIOR PAINTING Includes caulking, glazing, machine sanding, stripping & spot-priming bare wood. We use the right primers needed and recommend only the best paints for your project. We also stain siding and decks. We protect all areas that are not being painted and are extra careful around the customers landscaping. We clean up at the end of each day & when we are finished, ensuring that your property is left the way we found it.

WALLPAPER HANGING We can hang anything from borders to 54” Commercial paper. Vinyls, Suede, grass cloth, paper etc.

WALLPAPER REMOVAL This is one area where we can save you money. Most contractors charge by the hour for this service because it is so difficult to accurately estimate how long it will take to remove the paper. We have years of experience here and have come up with a method that is much faster than any others which we have tried.

POWER WASHING AND SEALING OF DECKS We wash and can even strip the old stain off of decks if you wish to go back to a more natural look. We set loose nails & sand smooth. We can do decks that are pressure treated, Cedar or Mahogany.

POWER WASHING OF ALUMINUM AND VINYL SIDING Highly oxidized or powdery aluminum can be washed to such an extent that the color changes back to the original. If it is too chalky we may recommend, if necessary, spraying to refinish.

CARPENTRY Most exterior painting projects require that at least some rotten wood be replaced. We have a carpenter on staff to do this, ensuring a job with no delays due to having to wait for a subcontractor to fit there schedule. We also do interior Crown Moldings, chair rails, built-ins, raised panels etc.

DRYWALL REPAIR Virtually all interior jobs require some drywall repair. We routinely fix nail pops and other small repairs, but also re-tape when necessary and can even replace drywall on multiple walls if needed.

GARAGE FLOOR EPOXY This process can add value to your home. It will keep the dust down and give your garage or shop a beautiful finished look. We offer 1 color or a premium finish with chips and a clear coat; it will all depend on your budget.

We display two types of written homeowner feedback on GuildQuality member profile pages: Comments and Reviews.

Comments

In response to our customer satisfaction surveys, homeowners share lots of comments about construction quality, communication, or any other question asked in the survey. Guildmembers can selectively publish these comments here on their profile page.

Reviews

Reviews are different than comments. These are star ratings that homeowners ask us to publish, and they come with a written description of the type of experience they had working with their contractor. We publish all of the reviews we receive: positive and negative alike.
