Schaefer Remodeling did an excellent job completing a large exterior roof and siding job that included removing and replacing literally every piece of exterior material from top to bottom. We live in a historic district. They did a great job or replicating window and door trim, soffit and other details on the house. Russ was great from start to finish. He was very knowledgeable and always professional and courteous. His work crews were friendly and worked hard. We had a few issues that came up but Russ was very quick to address any of our concerns. We are very pleased with their work and would recommend them highly.

We plan to have Schaefer back to do additional work in the future. We have not always had the best luck with contractors and could have gone with a company that would have charged a little less but after talking with Russ Schaefer, it was clear we needed Schaefer Home remodeling to do the job. He and his crew really knew the product, how it should be installed, and then delivered on it.

Lead Source - Because we were choosing a type of siding that is not often used here in this area, we went to a Home Show and met with a couple of contractors at our home. All claimed to know about this type of siding. We then went on the siding manufacturer's site and found Schaefer was the only company in the area they recommended. From our first meeting with Russ, we could see and hear the knowledge difference.
