Established in 1983 as primarily a commercial contractor Double D evolved into an award winning home remodeling firm in 1985 with incorporation and licensing. Winning our first of 13 NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) Regional COTY awards (Contractor of the year) in 1998 we have also won 2 National COTY awards, numerous NYC/LI COTY's, numerous Chrysalis awards for our quality work. Double D was inducted into Remodeling Magazine's Big 50 in 2005 as one of the top 50 remodeling firms in the country. We constantly strive to improve through education, training and certifications. Our family of employees, trade associates and suppliers create an ultimate team to help guide your through your remodel or new build. Our goal is to not only create a beautiful home but a lasting relationship.

Double D Contractors, with Doug Dervon, did work on my daughters house. I saw very unprofessional work. Siding that didn't line up, roofing with plywood shims to hide a belly in the roof, and a bathroom shower that was not plumb, (out 3/8 of an inch!!! Excuse after excuse was given for their screwups!!...

Double D did my kitchen renovation. The kitchen looks amazing! The staff are very professional. They always kept me up to date on each phase of the renovation. Everything was completed in the timeline we discussed. I highly recommend them.

I have been doing business with Double D contractors for 25 years. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to build a home or doing repairs. They are professional and you get a great value for a good price. They go beyond in their workmanship and in dealing with the townships of Long Island counties.
