Our pool since being installed at the end of last summer has never run correctly, pump burned out, main drain clogged by construction debris, some employees are great and some do just the minimum. One month after opening it this year and the system still isn't cleaning the water and removing debris....

I need to replace the insulation in my attic , can I install faced fiberglass insulation over the existing vapor barrier.

No need for s econd mositure barrier which is what the paper-face is. Just roll out unfaced insualtion atop the existing. Or, as an option, rent a blower and use loose-fill insulation.

Can you install wood planks behind a range (similar to shiplap)? If so, does it have to be a certain type?

I wholeheartedly agree with Susan, wood behind a stove is a safety hazard.
