Its painted; go to hardware store.  Buy spackle and sand paper.  Sand it down, spacke the scrapes.  Sand the spackle.  Repeat again, though after this spackle prime the door.  Then spackle and prime a ... read more

not sure about the product used in your home. we usually pack the joint with oakum. then we use hydrolic cement (water plug). followed by tar on the outside. hope this helps. email with any questions. ... read more
