Minor repairs to carpet (Karastan rugs) were extremely expensive. Opted not to have the repairs done.


We're redoing my parents roof and their chimney needs some repair work as well. Is it better to do the masonry work before or after we do the rest of the roof?

Make sure that your attic is properly insulated.  Make sure the seals around all windows and doors are in good shape.  If you can see daylight air is entering and leaving as well.
